"The house is just as wonderful as others have said, and the hosts were super responsive by text without intruding in the least — we met Deidre only once & by chance, as it were. The house is definitely compact, but the space is well apportioned. Worth noting that *indoors* it’s all one acoustic space — upstairs or down, all sound is audible to all; and the kitchen is necessarily modest. "Big place all by yourself in the woods. Plenty of room to sleep. The couch beds are the foldable leather kinds and it was surprisingly comfortable. I had no problem sleeping. Nice waterfall hike nearby. Cute little town with old architecture. But we mostly hung around the house and played the basketball or wiffle ball in the yard. Plenty of space. "

"We loved our stay and will definitely be back!! Eric was a great host who is passionate about his property and it shows. From building the perfect fire for you that will light with one flick of your lighter to all the cute accommodations he’s built by himself with lots of little details in mind from lots of cut wood for your fire to having WiFi available. "Enjoyed our weeks stay, as always. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you can think of for kitchen facilities and a beautiful water view. This very much feels like a family lives here. And the West Hill Pond is right out your back door, a pristine and private pond that is as large as many lakes and totally private. Only 4 or so houses on the entire pond. We particularly enjoyed a daily canoe around the pond and the call of the loons. Unique home and location."
