"There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's "solution" was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions...

"We enjoyed our stay! The location was within 15 minutes of pretty much anything you would want to do, which made everything super convenient.The only small suggestion I would have is adding room-darkening curtains in the bedroom. I personally prefer a darker room for sleeping, and there was quite a bit of light coming in. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying again!"
