Would stay again

We loved our stay and would come again. A new addition at the facility, that we didn't see in the pictures, was a splash-pad/pool kid area. Our 2 year old loved having what he called "my size pool." I think it was so new most people didn't know about it, because we often had the space all to ourselves.

Beautiful

Beautiful condo & grounds. Love the boardwalk with cushioned sofas, chairs and umbrellas. Remarks: Gave us only 3 bath towels--please.. at least leave 4. I know I could ask for more...don't want the hassle. Door sticks and hard to open. Also, stopping at the office after a long drive was such a pain. This is 2025, not 1990.

Nice location

The place was exactly as pictured. Great view enjoyed both balconies. The only thing I was not a big fan of was having to go exchange towels at the office site. Other than that minor inconvenience everything was great.

Perfect

This property was even better than expected. Definitely clean both inside the condo and the common areas. Easy to understand directions of what to do for checkout and linen exchange. The only suggestion I have is buy toilet paper at Walmart and NEVER Island Market. Also, pack your own beach towels! Check the place for any cooking needs as well because there was nothing there for us in the way of spices. Everything else was great!

Wonderful weekend getaway.

A quick weekend stay at the beach! The place is exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean and very well maintained. The first night the shower was room temperature and after long travel I longed for a hot shower. I notified the property maintenance the next day and it was fixed. The master bedroom is warm but there were two fans in the second bedroom which was awesome. I have no complaints and would book again!

Great budget friendly condo.

This was a last minute booking for my family vacation. The condo itself was just as described. The condo was perfect for my family for our last minute booking. Unfortunately, we will not be able to stay at this condo again as we need a condo with two bathrooms and a washer/dryer set. The reason for the 4/5 rating had nothing to do with the condo itself. While staying, it felt like a spring break trip with so many young adults and teenagers and not a family friendly condo. On our last night, there were approximately 50-75 young adults and teenagers in the court yard in the middle of the condo area that were playing loud music and being incredibly noisy well past midnight.

Great property for young families

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and the beds and living room furniture were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, but there was no low kitchen table, only high stools, which are not ideal for older adults. Master bedroom was a little warm, but there was a fan available to use. We especially enjoyed the large pool. The beach was a bit of a walk and the only access was down a flight of stairs. Laundry room on property was unbearably hot. I would stay here again, but would seek other laundry services.

Exceed my expectations!

Very nice unit. incredible view and location. Will definately return next year. Thanks for keeping this unit in such very good condition. Beds were superb. AC worked fine. Modern furniture and kitchen very well equipped. Family was happy. Im happy...1000 thanks!

Better in pictures...

The property in general was great! Wish the pools were heated because they were a bit cold with the cloudy weather. Felt very safe with 24hr security around the property. As for the unit, 1 bathroom was challenging for a family of 4. Washer and dryer would have been nice as our friends in another unit had them. Unit was clean and the views were nice! Handle on the freezer door was broken off, so it was difficult to use the freezer. Did not appear water was hooked up, so no ice making available. We also did not have pool towels as it appears everybody at the complex did. Tennis courts would have been nice to use, but unless you bring your own equipment you are out of luck. BBQs are available, but for a rental fee. Around $50 a day, so unless you have a group to split the cost it does not really make it worth grilling. Cheaper to go out for dinner. Overall we really liked the complex, but would probably look at another unit with better amenities and possibly a 2nd bathroom next time.

Everything about this listing was great. The place was beautiful had a wonderful view of the pool and the ocean as a backdrop. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting south padre!

Overall happy with it.

Where as it seems some property rules they are super strict with, the other more disruptive things like music at the pools were not enforced, and there was no insulation between floors, so loud upstairs guests were heard, as was our stuff most likely able to have been heard below.

Stay by the sea

Clean comfortable unit. Liked the balcony - had walls on each side which helped block the wind. Didn’t like the check in process - had to stop at one facility to check in and then go to the unit - probably a function of centralized rental management company. Toaster didn’t work and was tucked away under the counter. Hair dryer would have been nice touch - i should have checked the amenities before traveling! Kitchen was basic - only salt and pepper - and a small supply of dishwasher soap, coffee supplies,etc.

Had a great time except for the last night

Overall, we had a really great stay here. The kids really enjoyed themselves and so did we. Our last night at the towers the fire alarm went around 10:45 at night. Having small children, my sister and I Got our kids out of bed and ran down the stairs.. there seemed to be no urgency by the staff let alone any staff to speak to anyway. The fire department didn't even show up until 30 minutes after the alarm had gone off. About an hour after that we were told we could go back in however the alarm was still going off. After another hour of the alarm continuing to go off, we decided to end our vacation. There was no way we were going to be able to get our children back to sleep. I'm not upset because I know these things happen. I'm upset that there was no communication as to why this alarm was continuing to go off. No announcement no way to reach anybody. Our kids were terrified and we didn't have anything that we could tell them. Not to mention we were kind of scared ourselves. I will be speaking with a property manager regarding this matter

Great Escape

Check in was not what we were used to, the check-in desk was at another location. But it went smoothly and we received detailed instructions from the clerk. The property was just a few minutes down the road at the Bahia Mar venue. Once we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the nice aroma inside the tower. The condo was picture perfect and very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The only nitpicks were, no hot water and and AC in the Master bedroom was a little lacking. But not to the point that I'd mark down the condo. The water would eventually get warm and the fans in the condo were a great addition and allowed us to get the freezing cold air from the kitchen area into the master suite. The view is great, it overlooks one of the nice pools on the property and you could see a slice of the gulf from the balcony. The grounds were very clean and the staff were friendly and kept the property looking it's best. My wife and I enjoyed it and would not hesitate to return.

Great condo great property

The condo looked exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and easily accommodated a family of 5. The balconies were a great extra. We had a view of the pool, but we could also see the beach and the bay. Check in and out was easy and all property employees were friendly and helpful. I liked that they had family friendly rules for the properties shared amenities.

Nice with a few cons

Pictures are accurate. Clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked kitchen and specious for a small family. We enjoyed The spacious Balconies. Cons: super hard beds, warm water takes more than 15 minutes to come through the shower, no washer and dryer, having to wear a hard plastic hospital band the entire stay (I appreciate the security but wish they had a more comfortable band.) We didn’t have hot water on the first day we arrived. Owner came over after 11pm to try to help out, we were very thankful but still no hot water till after 5pm the next day. Hot water never really came through in the shower…it was like warm. No compensation was offered.
