"The property is very cozy and clean with a great view. If i could make a couple of suggestions, replace the furniture as it is hard to set in and very uncomfortable. Secondly, area rugs should have backing or done away with as they are slick and present a slip hazard. Couldn't get hot water to work in main bathroom. Just a few tweeks it will be perfect! Beds were incredibly comfortable!! Thank you for the use of your property!!"

"I wanted a place in Texas close to the April 8 2024 total eclipse centerline with plenty of clear space to setup telescopes and photography gear to catch the event. Weather was iffy but we got lucky and had a wonderful eclipse-viewing experience! The old farmhouse is clean and very charming. The open kitchen and expandable dining room table can accommodate even larger groups, but for the few of us that stayed the week it was perfect for evening cards & board games. Beds were comfy and bathrooms...

"Can’t say enough great things about The Bousque house. It was the perfect location for our friends and family to celebrate graduation. Patricia the owner has the gift of southern hospitality and bent over backwards to help us get set up for the party. we so enjoyed the peaceful backyard pavilion and fire pit along with walks with wild flowers and house with everything you needed to host a large crowd. so thankful we chose this gem to spend the weekend at . we would highly recommend"

"My daughter and I stayed here for her graduation weekend from Baylor University. It was such a nice area and a joy to be away from the big cities yet close enough to campus to enjoy activities. I would highly recommend you stay at this beautiful renovated home. 5 stars!!!"

"We stayed here while in the process of buying a house in Gatesville. It was home away from home and was a lovely place to relax from the stresses of life. It was clean and had everything we could have needed and more during our stay. The lake is low but we were able to hike down and explore. The house was kid friendly and had lots of books, some board games and other things to keep the kids(and adults) entertained. The owner was so very kind and responded in a timely manner. I highly recommend...
