"Relaxing stay, our kids loved being able to run around outdoors, the basketball hoop and ping pong table. My daughter loved the play kitchen under the stairs. The lake was a little tricky to get to like others mentioned but once down there my boys liked it. We didn't attempt to take the kayaks down there but they were available and had life jackets. Overall a great place to stay especially with kids. Check in and check out were great, too. "

"My family and I recently stayed here to attend and celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Baylor, as it is only about 25 minutes away from the school. The property was perfect! The rooms were spacious, with very comfortable. The layout of the house is perfect for entertaining too (the rooms are away from the living area). "10 of us stayed at this beautiful house for a spiritually focused retreat. The house was beautiful and spacious, the views from the porch were stunning with plenty of seating in the rooms and beds were nice and comfortable. "I am from a small town but large family and the phrase Mama's House is the best was to say what this home was. It is adorable,with a large kitchen, bedroom, and master bath.. Being able to see 3 doe and 2 bucks eating only a 5 feet from where I had my coffee was the best added bonus. This is a nature lovers paradise for sure. "

"My husband and I stayed for a quick work trip. The home is older, but well cared for. There were fans and a solid AC - which fended off the even-hot-for-TX May temps. There were even ice cubes and chilled/filtered water in the fridge when we arrived. A coffee-shop and grocery store are very close by. And it worked great for us as our project destination was only minutes away."
