"We absolutely loved our week in Corolla 4X4! The house is gorgeous, and the host is super responsive. We didn't lack for anything we needed, and wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again in the future. I would definitely abide by their suggestion to air down your tires to 20psi. We had zero trouble getting to the house and back by following this protocol. My advice would be to stock up on as many groceries as possible before arriving. Don't follow your GPS, follow the coastline for approx. 9...

"Absolutely loved the location. Right on the intercoastal. Nothin but birds, cicadas, and the soft flow of the water. We ate outside in the enclosed porch and out by the water. This home is everything they say it is and then some. The Morris Farm was awesome, huge flea market type with outdoor seating shaded and non shaded with live music. I will stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!"

"Ive stayed at this property 4 times I believe since 2017 it hasn't changed a bit. And thats why we love this place. Its so quiet and peaceful there. Brought my kids this time and it was a hit. We fished, kayaked, swam and just soaked up the sun. Its close enough you can hit the Outer Banks or go in to Virginia Beach. I wont even consider another place to stay when I come out. I recommend going to Coinjock Marina for dinner or lunch we do that alot. The swing next to water was a great added...

"Our stay at the barn apartment was a little better than perfect! Carol and her husband were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to make sure our family had an amazing stay. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean and had several amenities such as several KCup options, dishwasher tabs, cleaning supplies, and soaps. The property is truly what made our stay extra special. My kids 3 and 5 loved seeing the horse and donkeys every morning, we spent many hours at Bugsy beach, and enjoyed the...

"Very Nice! Small but it has everything you need! The hot tub was pleasant to use. The kitchen had a gadget for any meal you chose to make. They had a refrigerator freezer, griddle, single cooktop, air fryer, crock pot, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, K-cup coffee brewer, and outside they had a gas grill. We ate there outside under the covered porch every night. There is a full size washer and dryer to use too. A 1/4 mile to the 4x4 beach. Plenty of wild horses and deer to see. Lots of fun...

"The cottage was well maintained and clean upon arrival. The owners were wonderful with communication and were prompt to answer our questions. The outdoor area was our favorite. We thoroughly enjoy the fire pit and seeing all the wild horses and we will be back!"

"Our first time on the 4x4 side of the beach was wonderful. The house is beautiful. The amenities were great! Alan, the property owner, and Kevin, the property manager, were fantastic and super helpful. They got us through hurricane Erin unscathed "
