New outdoor 7 person hot tub & Traeger Pellet BBQ!

This renovated 1832 Vermont retreat is a whopping 6,500 sq ft and is minutes to 4 ski resorts. The home has 14 beds in 8 comfortable bedrooms and is jam packed with amenities. The retreat is perfect for family gatherings, couples retreats, or a crew of longtime friends. Tons of space to enjoy indoors and out with a chef's kitchen, hot tub, sauna, outdoor fire pit and ponds in the yard.

This historic retreat has served as an old farm house, an Inn, a cross-country ski lodge, and a hydrotherapy center since the 1830's. Remnants of the post and beam construction are still present in beautiful hand hued beams. The house has a taste of the old and the new. The front of the home is quintessential Vermont and full of rustic charm. The other end of the home is warm and cozy with a state-of-the-art kitchen, living room and spa. As our reviews will tell you, the home has character and is quite unique from any other rental.

The home sits on the foothills of the Green Mountains - Stratton (15 minutes), Magic (5min) which won Best in Snow Award for the entire US by Liftopia, Bromley (10 minutes) Okemo (20 minutes), Appalachian trail (12 minutes), and VAST trails (2 minutes). In the Green Mountains you will find endless trails great for hiking and exploring.

While we are known for our winter wonderland, we absolutely SHINE in the summer time. Flowers blooming everywhere, ducks swimming in the ponds, birds singing in the trees and babbling brooks lulling you to sleep. No neighbors to worry about either. Sit out on the hammock and take an afternoon nap in the warm sun. So many activities nearby: hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle board, fishing, boating or swimming in one of three pristine lakes near by.

For the foodies - Londonderry is home to an amazing amount of farm to table businesses that will provide you with innovative, delicious and extremely fresh meals. A nationally recognized bakery - Grandma Miller's is only 5 minutes away. Summers (May-Oct) there is a local farmers market within walking distance.

Multi Family Getaway

My family, my sisters family, and my parents for a total of 11 people ranging from teenagers to retired. What a wonderfully spacious place! Tons of room for everyone to not trip over each other and a fantastic kitchen to feed us all weekend! Great places for family game or movie night. We do recommend a visit.

Great place to connect.

Our group had a great stay at the Red Brick Retreat. The home was large enough for our bigger group but allowed us to all connect while not feeling cramped. The classic Vermont home has unique elements including a great fireplace insert, sauna, and hot tub. The host was great, responsive, and made the entire process simple. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Amazing Vermont getaway

Our family booked a late summer weekend at the Red Brick Retreat. We needed some rest and rejuvenation before the busy school year, and this stay exceeded our expectations! First, the host was highly accessible and provided all kinds of useful information (including advice about local running routes). Check in was easy, and the host answered a few small questions instantly. And the Red Brick Retreat is a memorable place with everything a family needs - and then some! From charming centuries-old rooms to a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and places to hang out, this house has it all. We also enjoyed the hot tub and gym, then relaxed in the loungers to watch a family movie. Although it was tempting not to leave the house, the local area is full of delights (food, farms, shopping, lakes, hiking). We brought home wonderful memories and appreciate being well taken care of during our last summer hurrah. Many thanks to the owners for a lovely experience!

Perfect for a big group!!

We had a wonderful time at this house. It's well equipped for a big group and had just about everything we needed! There is one room in that house that doesn't have doors, just curtains, so that was the only negative thing I'd have to say. Otherwise, the house was incredible, clean, comfortable, and just a really, really great place to spend the weekend with a big group of friends and family!!

Great for a large group ski trip!

We stayed at David's property for a long weekend at the end of March with a group of 15 adults and a toddler. This house was perfect for our group's needs. The main floor is huge and open, so folks can be doing their own thing without missing out on plans or group activities. Rooms and amenities were exactly as described and the instructions were very clear. With 8 bedrooms we were able to fit our large group comfortably, which was incredible. Location-wise, the house is central to several towns and ski resorts, so we did not have to drive very far for anything. It is located off a main VT road as well, so there was no worry about steep hills and unplowed snow or ice. David was a proactive and timely communicator and made the planning process very simple. I have no complaints and would happily stay here again!

Great Space for Retreat!

We had a group of 15 for a retreat and "Friendsgiving" and had an amazing time! Our host Dave was very helpful and responsive with any issues that came up. The house is huge with plenty of room for multiple groups to spread out and we really enjoyed the Sauna and Hot Tub as well. The kitchen appliances were new and in great working order, and they provide plenty of cooking tools for any size meal. Dave generously provides all the materials for the smoker/grill and we had an amazing smoked turkey. There was plenty of wood for indoor and outdoor fires and the house got really cozy after a few hours of the wood stoves going. The location is also great with a nice shopping plaza 3 minutes down the road; they have a grocery store, pharmacy, an awesome record store, and a couple restaurants. We also appreciated all the signage in the home and pretty much everything has instructions or a sign. The workout room has bumping sound system and enough equipment for any workout as well, which is a fun extra. We really have no complaints about our stay, other than the bedrooms getting a little cold at night with the doors closed. Space heaters are provided in each room to supplement the heat, but the one in our room (the Chalet) was quite loud when it was turned on. Other than that, our stay was amazing and we hope to come back in the future. Thanks Dave for an amazing stay!

A cozy retreat!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at the Red Brick Retreat. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we could ask for, including 2 waffle makers. The space was well maintained, even if some spaces are showing their age a little bit. Included firewood made the outdoor fire pit a great place to gather, and the games and entertainment systems were great. With all the options these days between cable and streaming services, navigating the proper inputs on some of the equipment was tricky, but we figured it out. :-) The electronic, full-size piano was nice surprise. This was more than enough room for our four families totaling 12 people. And the recommended catering of dinners from Jason made the whole weekend easy. stress-free, and DELICIOUS! Enjoy your stay!

Friendcation 2021

Came here with a large group of 14 friends. We take a vacation together every year but this year was amazing. This house has so much space. A ton of bedrooms, a super large and stocked kitchen, two different living room type areas, a large outside area, and the basement with a gym, hot tub, and sauna. It was amazing. No one ever felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen has so much stuff I wasn’t expecting it was a nice surprise. We had a great time even in the summer going disc golfing at a local ski mountain and visiting the Vermont country store. Great vacation!

Work Trip

Perfect house for a work trip! Enough space for all of us to participate in a virtual conference without disturbing each other. Fantastic kitchen for group cooking, and great tables for eating and playing games. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and welcoming. Owner was responsive and attentive. Everything we could have asked for!

Great Space for Large Group

This space was perfect for a spa weekend with my group of 16. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. We had great weather and were able to take advantage of the great backyard space. Dave was easy to book with and very communicative. We didn't venture out, but the kitchen was fully stocked with all you'd need for food prep and we were able to pick up food from the nearby Corner Market Deli and Jake's Cafe.

Red Brick Retreat

We came to the red brick retreat to do our annual fantasy football draft. The house is amazing! There was plenty of room for our group and we loved the sauna, hot tub, and gym downstairs. Everything was in awesome condition and Dave was super easy to work with. We would absolutely come stay again!

Lovely getaway

We had a lovely time at the Red Brick Retreat. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. The property was in a good location that is close to many area activities. It was very clean and we really enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings.

If you’re looking to book a house for a large group in Vermont, don’t bother looking any further than this house. When I tell you it’s incredible it truly is. Whether you’re looking to entertain a ski trip group, a bachelor or bachelorette party, a family reunion or a holiday retreat this is the house for you. Dave (Owner) and Jason (Local Host) were absolutely amazing people and a big help from start to finish. You won’t regret choosing this house!!!

Amazing Experience
