Unforgettable Adventures and Ultimate Relaxation
Our experience was truly delightful, especially because we had the opportunity to meet the hosts in person. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was problem-free, including making sure there were no issues with the entry code. The location of our accommodations was absolutely perfect for our mountain biking, kayaking, and hiking adventures. Additionally, the thoughtful provision of essential items made our stay incredibly comfortable. Plus, the smart TV provided a fantastic way to unwind and relax after spending all day adventuring. All in all, it was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful spot
Great location to mountain bike and hiking trails, wonderfully stocked with all the essentials. A bit hard to use the entry and lock the door and the modern controls for heating were beyond our technical abilities. Lighting in the main room was really bright but smart TV was great.

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay! Pros: quiet, clean, modern, extra items for use by host like cooler and umbrella. Parking was easy and convenient, got a feel for what’s like to be a resident of such a gorgeous destination. Cons: slightly away from the main town, but no biggie. Great stay overall!

The property was fantastic and the hosts were accommodating and easy to work with. Nice extras like kettle bells, weights, and mats. If you like being away from the crowds but want an easy Uber ride to the activities, this quiet neighborhood is perfect.

Truly, a Hidden Gem!
This is a spatial 2nd-floor apartment, modern, immaculately clean (it looks brand-new) and with a well-appointed kitchen. The principal attraction of this apartment is its location on a quiet street of stately homes in the pine-tree forest. It is just under 10-minute ride from the lake and the tourist bazaar of downtown South Lake Tahoe, the main attraction of which for us was Whole Foods Market. The street is called High Meadow Trail, and indeed there are hiking trails starting almost at the door; we tried the Power Line trail. Last and not the least, Maria and Bob are the hosts to dream of: very welcoming, tactful, and helpful; it was a pleasure to meet them. Among other helpful advice and information, they made available several useful hiking guides and maps. (There are also some pretty good books on the shelf, but we usually were so tired that we just stared at them.) Overall, in spite of the low temperatures, about 30 at night, when our plans of swimming in the lake went down the drain, it was a wonderful vacation.

An amazing stay!
We were getting away for a little anniversary weekend and the apartment was perfect! It sits right above the garage with your on private access. We walked in and we’re amazed with how modern and clean it was. It had pamphlets on what to do around Tahoe along with dinner recommendations. We were able to meet Bob who was so delightful and sweet. They also left a little note with a bottle of champagne. Definitely recommend staying here!

25th Anniversary
Robert and Maria are amazing hosts and think of every detail. The rental is in a perfect location, centrally located to visit Lake Tahoe as well as many other areas. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay for our 25th Anniversary. They have so many special amenities that you could never have at any hotel or condo. All of our needs were met. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us! Tip-we enjoyed visiting Camp Harrison and taking the boat trip to Emerald Island. They have a beach front and restaurant there as well.

Amazing stay!
I cannot say enough about this little property. It helped make our Tahoe stay so special. 10 minutes from literally everything in south Tahoe. Owners are SO nice and accommodating. Left us a nice note and a piece of cake!! All amenities are nice and you can tell they take great care of this space! We will be back.

Just what you want in a VRBO experience...easy communication, clean, well stocked and convenient property, and kind and considerate hosts. Awesome Vacation - Perfect for us - we like quiet :)
We own a contemporary home and quality is important to us. This place delivered on ALL fronts. Quiet, peaceful, yet easy access to every place we wanted to go. We hiked everyday and it was wonderful to come home to all of the detailed amenities: yoga mats, super clean floors, comfortable bed, perfect amount of light and breeze! We also went to the beach one full day and beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, sunscreen all right there for us! Amazing couple willing to answer all of our questions. Loved it!

Heavenly Hideaway!
We had a fabulous stay at Bob & Maria’s hideaway! The space is brand new, beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen (loved the induction stove and iron tea pot for my tea!) and we must mention the heated floors. Easy access to so many things to do, but one of our favorites was a morning walk on the nearby trails. Bob and Maria immediately responded to any questions we had and gave some great food recommendations too. We can’t wait to come back for more adventures! Cheers to that!

Perfect
This place is a gem. It's clean, newly built, and really stylish. A lot of care and attention has gone into this place. The bed is cozy and the sheets are soft. The kitchen is perfectly stocked. This almost has the feel of a bed and breakfast. The hosts are very thoughtful. The little details are noticeable. We will look for an excuse to come back soon.

A must stay !
Highly recommend staying here when you are visiting beautiful Tahoe we came to snowboard at the heavenly resort which is a few miles away. Very easy to locate in a really nice area , the place was nice clean and cozy. Thanks again for having us we enjoyed it all ! Hope to be back god bless.

This is literally the best place we ever stay on South Lake Tahoe. Maria and Robert take care of everything you need to make your stay memorable. The house is gorgeous. Modern cozy home
Contemporary, super clean and with modern well stocked kitchen. Convenient to state line amenities and ski resorts. Hilly, small road that may not be cleaned as quickly after a snow storm so need to be prepared. We loved the stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fantastic
We went for a ski trip. We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this rates as one of the very best. The location is fabulous in a quiet neighborhood which is very pretty and on the edge of the national forest. The apartment is super high end. It is not an Ikea accommodation. The furniture, appliances, floor, bed and bedding are all quality. The under floor heating makes it super comfortable. Excellent internet. Nice TV with Netflix. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, bodywash, ear buds everything. There is even a yoga mat to stretch out ! We cooked a lot because of COVID and this is hands down the best kitchen we have ever had in a vacation unit with extra supplies like olive oil and spices. Maria and Bob are fantastic hosts who REALLY care that their guests have a good time and are comfortable. Clearly highly recommended.

Great property in a convenient location. Truly a 5-Star experience.
This was simply an outstanding place to stay during our first visit to Lake Tahoe. The unit is clean, new, modern, private, and has plenty of space for two people to enjoy a week long stay. The owners Bob and Maria are incredibly gracious and friendly hosts, as we had the opportunity to chat with them a couple times in passing. In addition to the unit, there were beach chairs, a cooler, great parking close to the front door, and more, all included for use in our stay. The wi-fi is fast which made for great movie nights, and there is an AC unit in the bedroom which we utilized. We would not hesitate one bit to recommend this place to our most discerning friends and colleagues, and we hope to be able to visit Lake Tahoe and stay here again soon.

Great week in Lake Tahoe!
We had a wonderful experience at our recent stay in South Lake Tahoe. Bob and Maria were very thoughtful hosts with great instructions and all the extras including snacks, nice shampoo, lotion and a even emailing us about a concert on the beach in case we were interested. Our little apartment had its own private entrance, was so well equipped, clean and looked like new. It exceeded our expectations. Only a few miles from the lake and town. Great place!

Very comfortable apartment
The other positive reviews are accurate. My wife & I stayed for 9 days and were very comfortable in this apartment. The apartment is completely isolated from the rest of the house and is well stocked. Because it's an owner-occupied residence, and because they are just over the boarder from S. Lake Tahoe, the 30-night minimum stay requirement imposed by the S. Lake Tahoe Vacation Rental Dept. does not apply. Bob & Maria were great. Highly recommend.

Absolute Gem in a Quiet Neighborhood
Incredibly well-appointed modern space. Maria and Bob were wonderful hosts and have constructed a stellar landing spot for anyone traveling for business or pleasure. No detail is left to chance; all amenities are well-considered high-end epicurian comforts. (I photographed the tag on the pillows so I can be sure to purchase the identical ones for home). Could not be happier to have found this gem, and my only lament is that it was not available for the remaining two weeks I'm in the area on business. Only wish all my VRBO, ABB, hotel, etc travel experiences were this satisfying...

Can't Wait to Go Back!
Wow, we were so so impressed by this property and the owners! Bob and Maria are so sweet and were very attentive to our needs and questions. We were lucky enough to run into them to meet in person and they made us feel right at home. They even went above and beyond with a surprise bottle of Prosecco as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during the stay! The pictures are great but we were pleasantly surprised with this modern unit. The unit is in the front of the home and felt completely separate and private as it is above the garage. With everything just being built in 2020 it doesn't get any newer than this. The unit was fully stocked with more than we would've expected; snacks, coffee, yoga mat, kettlebells, a large array of toiletries (all high-end products), beach chairs/umbrella/towels, and more! Everything was just so new, clean and of quality. The bed was also extremely comfortable and felt like hotel luxury. The location is about 10 mins from South Lake and we were easily able to get around by car and bike. Their neighborhood is very quiet and it was lovely to wake up to the beautiful pine trees in the front yard. Right up the street there are also some hiking trails that are pretty popular. Honestly, I could go on and on but I'll just say that we cannot wait to go back. This space was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a peaceful getaway. Please be mindful that I am writing this as someone who rarely writes reviews as I have painfully high standards for quality. Thank you Maria and Bob for being the best rental hosts we've had!! Looking forward to seeing you in the near future :)

Wonderful little getaway in the woods
The place was great; it was really clean and modern but still warm and cozy, it was a short walk from a bunch of trails, and Maria and Bob were very responsive to all of our needs. We had a really great time and would love to come stay again!
