It provided everything we need for our stay and the use of the hot tub and do some star gazing is phenomenal - a must if you are staying at Te Mahuru Retreat. "This was the most gorgeous and quirky place to stay. We loved the heritage features and the creative atmosphere that has really shown off the fact that the owner has a good imagination. Consider a combination of an old convent building, beautiful spacious grounds, and then add a dollop of Alice in Wonderland. We were very happy with our stay in the bishops cottage, loved the location, and will come back to stay here as soon as we can plan another visit to Te Anau."
