"A great location for views of the mountains and sea. The living area of the house is very spacious. Comfortable beds and ample heating for the colder weather. Care is needed backing out onto the main road. (Small cars can turn at the top of the drive.) Hostess was very good at communicating before, during and after our stay. responsive"

"We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. The place is huge and comfortable and we lit an open fire which was lovely. The accommodation is isolated from the main farm and is therefore wonderfully quiet and peaceful. "Awesome property and great communication with owner. Beautiful inside and great beds and also woodburning fireplace. Not much in the small town so bring food since no stores around. We had someone else come and say they booked the place for the same night- not sure if overbooked but lucky we got there first."

"While we only stayed one night here, it was the perfect location to get away from the noise of town traffic yet very close to Hokitika and right on the way to the Hokitika Gorge. There were only two of us but perfect spot for family with children or couples travelling together. "

"Stayed here after our wedding so we were looking for a nice spot to relax, and this definitely delivered, although it may be a wee bit of an old house it was very homely and with the fire going it was lovely and warm, whilst also having stunning views of the ocean.We loved it definitely would recommend this one!
