"When we arrived I thought I was at the wrong place, it looked like an army barracks. From the pictures I was hoping for a key west vibe.. not so much, opened the door to our 2 bedroom suite in the first floor, facing the pool and immediately hit the bed with the door. The room was extremely small. Leftover food in the mini fridge, toilet had no water to flush, wet left and at least the 2 girls that were there were very nice and the maintenance guy/ desk clerk/ maybe manager did show us...

"Hotel in general was very dirty. Walls were dirty, bathroom was dirty, and we even found someone else’s clothes in the dresser. Only reason we actually stayed instead of leaving was because the beds were decent and we were only there to sleep before continuing our travels. After checking out we realized we were double charged by the hotel after already paying through Expedia. I will say I did speak with management and she was very helpful in fixing the situation and said there would be a meeting...

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

He had snacks ready for us, he gave us recommendations of where to go and things to do and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the parking space on the property. The property itself was adorable. It's the kind of place you'd like to stay and hang out on a rainy or snowy day. "
