"These camp sites are just lovely! Perfect for those who need to reset in nature without being too far from a few familiar comforts. The cabins comfortably fit us and our belonings, and the property had plenty to look at and explore. We absolutely loved the open-top solar shower, and the separate cooking and hang-out fire pits were very convenient. Conveniently located near two public lakes and the Acton fairgrounds. "We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. "

"The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away."

"I would love to rent again. The space was enough for the number of guests allowed. Enclosed porch, deck, grill, and fire pit by the water were used daily. Water level is great for kids and water toys like floats and paddle boards. If it’s windy the water might be a little choppy but nothing major. Great view of the sun setting over the mountains. I really enjoyed my stay. "

"The studio met all of our needs and then some. It is spacious and comfortable.Literally steps to the lake and a private beach.We enjoyed each day with plenty of things to do. and didn't have to drive all over the lake's region. We had dinner at a couple of good restaurants. The Bob House is very good. I highly recommend staying here"

"Paul is a wonderful host and the house is fantastic. Our teens loved playing air hockey and ping pong with us and we had several “tournaments” during our stay. The house has everything you need and being able to relax in the spa at the end of a long day hiking is wonderful. We hope to be back soon. "

"We were in Gilford to attend a concert and this place was convenient, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the lake. Since it was right on the road there was car noise but not too bad."

"Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay."
