"First let me say that we are from Columbus and were looking forward to our stay in German Village.Our general satisfaction with the German Charm 2 was less than stellar for the following reasons:1 -Lighting in the stairway and upstairs hallway was poor. The low light viability was hazardous at best. 2- The lighting in the stairway and at the top of the steps was also very dim and made using the steps perilous as well.3- While the bathroom looked beautiful the reality was that it wasn't...

"The unit had no working AC and no working bath. We contacted the hosts and were promised they would send someone right out. Nothing was done and after 23 messages in 24 hours we moved to a hotel. The host refuses to refund our fees even after we quoted their own contract clause back to them entitling us to a 100% refund if major issues cannot be resolved in less than 6 hours. VRBO refuses to assist because apparently leaving the premises, even if for your own safety and welfare, is a violation...
