"Paula was a top rank host. Quick to respond, thoughtful, and helpful. The kitchen is smallish but pretty well equipped. Reims is a great side trip, of course, but so is chalone-en-champagne. We had many excellent meals. Best was probably Why Not, much more elegant than the name suggests. Was not wowed by Grillade Gourmand.If you are serious about champagne, I recommend you arrange visits with some small growers. The large house tours are fun but not as interesting."

The unit is clean and stocked with everything needed including cooking and clothes washing. It is across the street from a market which is held a couple of times a week.
