MAC HOME Sorrento central and finely restored free Wi-Fi

House totally and finely renovated in 2017, located in the center of Sorrento (Via Luigi De Maio), a stone's throw from all services (station, bus, taxi, bars, restaurants, hospital, parking) and the sea. The house consists of three bedrooms (one of which with a bathroom) and a living room with kitchen equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. The whole house has an air conditioning system.
The location of Sorrento is strategic for visiting the famous archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum which are less than 30 km away (also reachable by train), as well as being able to easily visit Positano, Capri, Ravello and Amalfi by land or by sea.
The Municipality of Sorrento, by resolution of the City Council No. 99 of 29/11/2011, has established the tourist tax in force from April 1 to October 31. The tax is applied per person per night on the nights of non-residents in the Municipality of Sorrento up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Minors are exempt from the tax up to the age of eighteen. This tax will be due by the guest upon arrival in the accommodation.

The location was amazing! Right on the main piazza. You would think it would be noisy, THINK AGAIN. Windows very well insulated. Owner was great with communications and very responsive. Loved our trip!

We have been to Sorrento many times and use it for our home base and always book a year in advance if possible to stay as close as possible to hte center .. this was the second time we were able to overlook Piazza Tasso from our balconey .. minutes from the water and train/bus stations ... it doesn't get better then this šŸ˜

Great location, hosts and property

This apartment is in the heart of Sorrento and although there is bustle on the street at times when the windows are closed it is very quiet inside.Our hosts were wonderful and attentive.In the night on the weekends the street outside fills with a night life and was fun to watch from the balcony. There is a grocery store just down the road with everything we needed. For anyone used to clothing dryers in the states planning time for the clothes to dry is a factor for your trip.Tip: Use the heater provided in the bathroom to warm the space then conserve hot water and turn the water on and off while showering

Best location ever!

The apartment was great, and the view from the balcony was amazing. Our son is studying abroad there and he scoped out the location ahead of time and said we chose the ideal location and he was absolutely right! We had a view of the cafƩ we visited almost every morning for a cappuccino and a pastry. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Would absolutely recommend to others!

Great balcony view

Perfect spot located in the town center. We just loved sitting on the balcony in the evening and watching the night life come alive. All of our private tours picked us up and dropped us off at the Sorrento town center. The ferry to Capri was an easy 5 min walk.

Here is some feedback to help plan your Sorrento stay. Proā€™s -Location was excellent -Check in process easy -Close to train station -Plenty of toilet paper -Many restaurants, bars, and attractions -Communication with host was great -Smart TV Conā€™s -Apartment was bare bones as far as there was not any supplies in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, oil, paper towels, coffee etc -Apartment was sparsely decorated, nothing on the walls -Beds were okay but pillows were mush and too soft -Hot water is timed so make sure you lather up then rinse -Apartment is right in the square so a bit noisy Overall I would recommend this apartment because the location is outstanding!

A gem in the center of Sorrento!

This apartment will not disappoint. We were welcomed by Fabrizioā€™s brother Alessandro who explained everything in the apartment and was available anytime we had questions. The location was extremely convenient to all our needs. The balcony overlooking the piazza was what we loved most. The only negative is that we had to leave. Cannot wait to return to this property!

Location, location, locationā€¦..perfect Living area on the small side, however it did not matter to the four of us as we were not in the room that much. Also the bedrooms are a good size so we could always retreat to them for quiet and relax time. Having two washrooms was nice as well Loved having the balcony that overlooks the square. Location is absolutely great and close to everything, shops, restaurants, the train station, the lift down to the water front, stairs to the water front, or the walking ramp down to the waterfront Would stay here again for sure

Fabrizio was an excellent host! He helped us with our luggage and gave us an overview of the apartment. It is well furnished and has been recently updated. The location cannot be beat! It is located on the main town square accessible to restaurants and shops. I highly recommend his place!

Sorrento charmer

We stayed at this lovely property eight nights. It was centrally located on the piazza, close to the market and waterfront. The property was very clean and nicely appointed. The piazza can be noisy, but, luckily, the windows make the unit virtually soundproof. The property is only a five-minute walk from the train station. And taxis are easily hired on the piazza. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Die Lage ist perfekt fĆ¼r alle, die vom Balkon aus das Treiben auf der Piazza Tasso beobachten und genieƟen wollen. Auch ansonsten ist alles (Bahnhof, Supermarkt, Restaurants und Badestellen) fuƟlƤufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Fabrizio, der Vermieter, antwortet schnell und ist ƤuƟerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. WƤhrend unseres Aufenthaltes gab es ein Problem mit der SpĆ¼lmaschine. Fabrizio hat sich sofort gekĆ¼mmert und sogar jemanden vorbei geschickt, der zwischenzeitlich den Abwasch gemacht hat, wƤhrend wir auf einer Wanderung waren - ohne dass wir das erwartet oder erbeten hƤtten. WĆ¼rde jederzeit wieder buchen!

Terrific stay in the heart of Sorrento!

Excellent apartment in the middle of Sorrento. We were within short walking distance to everything we needed. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. AC was nice and cool. Great balcony for people watching! Fabrizio and Alessandro were wonderful hosts with great communication. We will stay again next trip to Sorrento!

Great Stay in Sorrento!

First of all, the location of the apartment is FANTASTIC! It is right on Piazza Tasso with easy access to everything. There is a small terrace where we enjoyed sitting and watching all the action. Despite it being in a busy piazza, there was very little outside noise when the windows were closed. The apartment was clean and had all the supplies needed if you wanted to cook. Fabrizio was a great host and was immediately responsive to any questions that we had. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
