"We absolutely love coming to stay at this property! The indoor and outdoor pools are so refreshing! The rooms are spacious and we always utilize the kitchen and balcony. While on our last visit we were so saddened to hear that this resort is closing! I believe October 2 is their last checkout date😭 I hope someone is willing to buy it soon and carryon so families can continue to make memories at such an awesome place! 🙏🙏🙏🙏"

"My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!"

"The property has some safety issues that need to be addressed. Master bed was comfortable. Didn’t sit outside as there were too many bugs. The host was communicative prior to arrival. "

"We enjoyed staying here and watching the fireworks on the river. The property was clean and the neighbors were very friendly. My husband and son enjoyed the fishing, just use plenty of bug spray because it’s not just the fish biting around there! "

"Family members traveled from Northern Wisconsin and Western Pennsylvania to join in on the celebration of another family member's 45 years of teaching/retirement observance in nearby Yorkville. Three generations stayed comfortably in the spacious home. "We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash...

"We spent a wonderful weekend fishing with friends and rented this house on the river. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The fish were biting well, and the house was very clean and cozy. The interior of the house is beautiful, all finished in wood, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.Our kids also enjoyed it very much and had a great time. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell.
