The perfect ski condo!
From the second we booked, we had great communication with the owner and were excited with the list of amenities included in the unit. Check in was explained so well, it made it super easy. The unit was perfect. Amazingly clean, great mattresses and pillow options. Fully stocked Kicthen (I am a chef so I get worried about that with rentals) The water pressure was great for showers and the club at solitude was right across the way from the building. We will definitely be staying there again. Such a great place. Solitude & Brighton did not let us down either! Thank you for such an amazing stay! ❄️

Very happy to be back at Solitude
We had a fabulous Spring break at Solitude. This was our ninth year visiting. We were very happy with this unit. It was really nice, clean and spacious! The owners are very friendly and extremely dedicated to accommodating their renters.

Great Solitude Stay
Another fantastic week at Solitude! This property is amazingly comfortable and the host is very accommodating. Our go to when looking to ditch the FL sunshine for some Utah powder!

Fantastic Stay!
My family and I spent 5 amazing nights in Solitude! The condo was absolutely perfect for us and we are already thinking about booking again for next year. The property was exceptionally clean, fully stocked with all the kitchen necessities, and my kids loved the games and Lego’s. The host Michael was a pleasure to work with and prompt in responding back to questions. Highly recommended for stays in the Solitude/Brighton area.

Clean, well stocked property! With functional knives!
Every time I stay at a rental property, I go in knowing that I will be irritated by the cheap, dull knives in the kitchen. This unit has actual sharp, high quality knives!!!! If you like to cook, you know what I’m talking about. THIS IS HUGE! The rest of the unit was very clean and comfortable. The living area was plenty big for our family (large comfy sectional). An easy 2 min walk to the ski slope at Mountain Village, or the shuttle to the main entrance of Solitude.

Favorite rental ever
Our stay was fantastic. The condo exceeded our expectations in every way. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with nice things! We were able to cook family dinners without any problems. We would absolutely stay again…and hope to next year!

Great location and epic snow
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Michael was wonderful to deal with and the condo was super clean, very well outfitted, and so comfortable! We had so much snow while we were there that it was like a wonderland with great skiing and snowshoeing! One suggestion, and this is for the resort, not specific to the condo, is that they need a place for renters to store gear after checkout so that people can continue to enjoy Solitude if they have late day or evening flights.

Great Ski Vacation

Stay at Solitude village
A terrific place to stay for our family of four with two boys (8 and 10 years old). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped- photos posted actually do not do justice to the place. Michael Patterson was very responsive when we had a question about the audio-visuals and were able to help us address the issue over the text quickly. We all very much enjoyed our stay and would be coming back hopefully next year.

Great place, great location
Perfect place for the skiing Solitude/Brighton etc near Salt Lake. Restaurants, bars, game rooms, heated pool, hot tub, sauna all available within the village that's all steps outside the door. There are games available in the unit as well as books in the unit and at the lodge main areas. Fireplace, TVs, etc. Great family ski vacation stay

Fantastic Condo - you won’t be disappointed
Clean & efficient condo. Includes all kitchen stuff (pots, pans, utensils, etc), fans to dry ski stuff, snow sleds, wifi, and games. Great ski in ski out location. The teens enjoyed the “club” and we enjoyed the hot tubs after skiing.. This was our most favorite ski vacation.

Condo as advertised
Solitude Resort with all it‘s amenities (access to a number of hot tubs, a heated pool, play room etc) and location right at the base of the lifts is great for families with kids: and this condo in Powderhorn lodge is the perfect hub to all this. The condo itself is spacious, clean, and overall as advertised. Only missed a view to either side of the mountains from it. Would love come back in future years.

Great condo and location!
Just as advertised. Proximity to the lift was amazing…. So great having such easy access to go back and fourth from the mountain to the lift, like at lunch for example. The condo is very clean and well stocked. We picked up groceries in SLC and did a lot of cooking in. The base area does not have a lot of restaurants but that doesn’t bother us. The food that there is, and the food on the mountain, were all pretty good. Access to the pool and hot tubs was easy and very close. We really enjoyed our stay !!

Awesome stay with all the amenities you could need!
Michael was super helpful with providing not only all the relevant information for our stay, but we had basically all the things we could need in the unit for our weeklong vacation. He was super understanding and responsive, and there were a plethora of cleaning supplies and covid-safe materials present. Highly recommend his condo if you're looking for a trip to Solitude (or even any of the other Wasatch mountains!).

Convenient and super manager
Our family of 4 had an excellent holiday stay at PH204. Michael, the rental manager, went out of his way to make sure that our stay was pleasant - 10/10. Clean, well-stocked and the location can’t be beat. The WiFi is on the slow side so don’t count on multiple streams but it works fine.

5 star as advertised
This condo is perfectly located in the cute village at the base of Solitude, just a two minute walk to the lifts. We enjoyed the heated underground parking, ski lockers and spacious accommodations. The condo was clean and in perfect shape. My two daughters and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Michael, the property manager, was very responsive in all of the lead-up communication and also followed up to see how our stay was going. I only do 5 star VRBOs and this one qualifies.

Truly our best family vacation ever
We had a spectacular time staying in Solitude at Michael’s cozy, clean, and perfectly-located condo! The condo was the perfect size for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 6 and 8), located steps away from the place we rented our skis, and another few steps from the ski lift! Everything we needed for our week was right there (including a nice kitchen with all the pans and utensils we needed to prepare meals), and it’s obvious the owners really took the time to make sure the place was set up well for guests. Michael made himself available throughout our stay to answer our occasional questions about logistics, and he couldn’t have been more friendly. We hope to stay here again next time we visit Solitude! Truly wonderful experience overall and would highly recommend Michael’s place without hesitation.

Excellent Location and Perfectly Equipped!
We had a great stay at PH-204. It was clean, perfectly equipped, and an excellent location. It was nice to have the necessities (tp, paper towels, some condiments, cleaning supplies) provided in the condo when we arrived. The condo is a quick walk to the Apex lift as well as a few restaurants and the ski rental shop. All in all, PowderHorn is a great choice for your stay at Solitude.

We have stayed at Michael’s condo a number of times over the years. In addition to the great location, we always appreciate having a fully outfitted kitchen and extra bedding like we would have in our own home. Communication and check-in was very straightforward.

3rd stay just as good as the first
Our 3rd stay over four years. Our family has some great memories here. Michael is by far the most gracious host we have ever experienced in a home rental. He knows when to help upfront and knows when to just hang back and be there when needed. What I'm trying to say if you need some extra hand holding he will do that. If you are self sufficient and just need to know someone has your back if you run into an issue, Michael is your man. Condo is clean (very clean), loaded with everything you need. You still need to buy groceries, but rest assured most of the common items will be here. Spices, oils, common condiments, cleaning supplies...they are all here. Really! You will be amazed. Did I mention clean? Never have I stayed In a hotel or condo this consistently clean. Do not hesitate staying here. In fact, book way ahead. I mean it. A true gem in this crazy world of overrated and overpriced vacation rentals.

Everything we needed and more
We were very pleased with our stay at Powderhorn Lodge. The condo was very convenient to the outdoor pool, hot tubs, the game room, restaurants, and the lifts. Michael had plenty of amenities in the kitchen on hand for our convenience. The storage locker held our 6 pairs of skis and poles and was easy to access right in the lobby of our building. There was plenty of room in the condo for our family of 6. We enjoyed the fireplace and 2 TVs in the evenings after our days on the slopes. The location was easy to access and Brighton is just down the street. 2 in our party also drove to Snowbird and Alta to ski one day during our trip and found it to be an easy drive. Overall, if we were staying in the Solitude area again, we would definitely stay at this condo . Thank you for a great family ski trip.

Perfect from A to Z!
We (2 adults and 2 young kids) visited Solitude for 4 days of skiing and picking this condo as our home base has been a big part of the success of our trip! We would book it again if we are ever back in the area. The condo is spacious, well out-fitted and very clean. The master bed was extremely comfortable, the kids loved having a bunk bed and the linens were fresh and of great quality. The living room area is very inviting and board games/block sets/drawing supplies are available, which the kids really liked. The kitchen appliances worked great, there was a nice variety of pans/utensils for us to cook and everything was in great shape. It was also very convenient to find alu foil, ziploc bags and other small things that we would not have purchased for such a short trip but made us feel at home. The bathroom is roomy, ample stocks of paper supplies were provided, as well as extra sets of (plush!) towels. Outside of the condo, we enjoyed the swimming-pool, hot tub and sauna in the complex nearby. We loved the small village atmosphere of Solitude, everything is within 1-min walking distance (ski rentals, ski lifts, restaurants - we had a great dinner at Honeycomb) and everybody was friendly. That being said, we were really glad to have rented a car (thanks to the owner's guidance) because the ski school is located at the Moonbeam base, which is a 2-min car ride away but would have been a hassle to reach with the kids and equipment in tow. Also, we ended up skiing at Brighton 2 out of the 4 days, and it was very convenient to have a car rather than relying on bus 972. Having a car also lets you stock up on groceries in Salt Lake City, which is critical because there is no grocery store in Solitude. The owner, Michael, is particularly kind and helpful. He was very responsive to the few emails I sent him before our trip. He kindly approved a late checkout so we could make the most of our last day and he recommended that we rent a car, for the reasons listed above we have been really grateful for this advice. He also answered the few questions I had during our stay very promptly, and kindly reached out after our stay to ask whether there was anything that could be improved. To top it off, he didn't grudge us a mistake we did when we left the condo (an instruction we didn't follow).This is amazing customer service! Altogether, we all have fond memories of this trip and I would recommend this condo to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful property and location
Stayed for four days of skiing and both the condo and location were perfect. Just a short walk to the lifts and only steps to restaurants made everything easy and convenient. The unit itself was spotless and very well equipped and furnished with a warm, rustic feel. We only had one minor issue with one of the key cards and the owner/manager was incredibly responsive in getting it quickly resolved. Overall a great experience!

Exceptional Vacation Rental
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was exactly as pictured. The condo was clean, well kept and furnished with all the comforts of home (including toys for little ones). The beds were very comfortable and the condo/kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials and then some. The parking garage was super convenient and the location of the condo to the resort amenities (laundry, hot tub, pool, game room) was an added bonus. The owner provided clear check in/out instructions along with maps to the property before arrival and was quick to respond to all of our questions before and during our stay. He even followed up with us once we arrived to make sure we got in OK and everything was good in the unit. Our stay was perfect and we can't wait to come back again.

Best location in Solitude
This condo was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the layout and convenience of this place. It is literally in the same building as ski rentals and a 2 minute walk to several restaurants and less than 5 minute walk to lifts. It was very clean, cozy and very well equipped. The master bed was super comfortable. Having a locker for ski storage in the lobby was perfect! Hope to return one day.

Everything you need...
This unit has everything you need - convenience to slopes (about a 8 minute walk to the lift), 2-3 min walk to restaurants and small shop to buy snacks, medicine, and booze. The room was spacious, the unit was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was only of the best stays we've had out at a VRBO place. Michael was extremely accommodating and helpful with all out questions (we were first time to the area). My kids had a wonderful time and want to come back soon!

Solitude - Powderhorn Lodge
Great place. Our family had a nice stay. Condo was excellent and coming to Solitude in early April meant the skiing could be dicey, but this season had great snow, no lift lines and many slopes to ourselves. The bonus of being able to ski back and forth to Brighton was fantastic. Club Solitude which had heated outdoor pool and hot tubs was great for apres ski. The ski lockers in the building made putting away our ski stuff super easy. Would definitely return and stay in same condo.
