My wife grew up a few hundred yards from this property, down near the river. We had a great time reminiscing with her, and listening to stories. The house has an incredible view of Sopris and Carbondale. The house was equipped with everything we expected. We would certainly visit again if we're in the Carbondale area."

"Great location, right next to everything in downtown. Ski resort bus was a short walk away. Our group was comfortable and happy. There were a few dishes in the cabinets that were dirty on arrival. Also furniture is dated, I understand they're trying to keep a historical vibe but some updates on furnishing could be made tastefully. Overall great experience and would stay again if I had a large group."

"The Home at the end of Elk Ave is the perfect location in town. Elk Ave is the main ave with restaurants & shops. I have been to CB for decades & have always stayed on the Mountain: Never again!! The free bus route to the Mountain is a 1 min walk and the shops/restaurants are only 2-4 minute walk. The location is ideal & the house is perfect for a family of 4+ or a group of friends with nice accommodations. We were well pleased. Dan S"

"We got there late but the key was waiting for us with a map to the cabin. There was a huge snow storm that night and the power went out but it was restored by morning. The staff was really helpful and communicated very well! It made all the things that happened seemed like it was just part of the adventure. We loved it, just wish we could have stayed another night! Definitely recommend! "
