"Lovely 2 night stay and just as we remembered from previous visits which were a few years ago. Comfortable room and bed with side sea view. Hotel lounge/bar area comfortable and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant food was excellent with good continental breakfast with healthy options, fresh fruit as well as cooked menu if desired. Evening meal was also excellent. "Staff nota 0. Limpeza praticamente inexistente. Cheguei de viagem e me deparei com o chao do quarto sujo: chao melecado, papel jogado e um guarda-chuvas no canto do quarto. Sem falar na sacada que nunca foi limpa na vida. Tambem nao substituem os ammenities do banheiro. A recepcao tambem nao é nada simpatica. Staff muito fraca no geral. "

"The room was spotless and a lot of thought in the details. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort. We absolutely loved it."

"Room beautiful, night light in bathroom excellent addition. No complimentary biscuits sadly. Would have appreciated these rather than toothpaste etc. Slept well, liked AC to adjust room temp as and when needed. Disappointed with breakfast, arrived 25mins before end and very limited choices hot food, shortage of cutlery. Spoke to Hotel Staff on reception who advised ref best timings to ensure full menu available."

"The boutique hotel is very pretty. The staff is small but efficient, attentive and work very well together. They are always prepared to meet one’s demands. There are steep stairs to the beautiful room I chose but that was not a concern since the staff took care of my luggage. "The hotel was wonderful. It is clear that the 17th-century historic building is being maintained with great care and affection. The room was spotlessly clean, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The quality of the meals served at the restaurant was also extremely high, and I was very satisfied. I couldn't visit the adjacent Somerset Museum as it was closed, but I look forward to seeing it on my next visit."
