"Absolutely loved our stay here! The ambiance was charming, the cleanliness top-notch, and the atmosphere incredibly soothing. Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. Overall, an enchanting experience that left us feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly content."

"This was a wonderful house for our large family to stay in while we visited the Brookings area. 4 bedroom, 2 bath with a bonus upstairs family room allowed each person space. The home is still proudly displaying the original decor, but is clean and quaint. Lots of amenities for the guests - high chair, easy access laundry, full pantry of cooking utensils and dishes for 12 or more, large fridge. We will stay again if given the chance!"

"Sylvia and Larry are amazing hosts. They're super friendly and are very helpful. It was quite the drive getting here since the road wasn't great but it was definitely worth it to be in a place that is so well curated for nature lovers. There's a private pond right next to the cabin with a hammock and some chairs to chill out on. A beautiful lawn for my dog to run around freely. Overall just a serene stay. Loved it!"

"The property was perfect for what we needed. They had all utensils we needed for cooking and plenty of towels and blankets. Just a couple of notes, the other rental property on site was actually attached to the house so not much privacy, and the bedroom upstairs did not have a door. But over all it was a good stay."

"Aneka's place is perfect to access Jedediah Smith Redwood Forest. The guest quarters accommodated three of us very comfortably. Aneka stocked it with all the essentials and more, including fresh eggs from her chickens. (Close the bedroom window or use a white noise machine or her rooster will greet you bright and early.) She keeps the place very clean and gave us keys to come and go easily. We cooked a meal for ourselves, made easy with all the pots and pans available. Best of all for us,...

"Just as advertised, there is a staircase to the beach within steps of the property. Bill and Linda were a joy as hosts. We informed about a few ants which I'm sure have been addressed by now. Everything functioned well. Nice big washer and dryer."

"We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean and well kept. The fenced backyard was perfect for our small dog and 2-year-old. Plenty of space for us to relax and beach access was a few minutes walk away. The manager made sure we had everything we needed and I'm sure would have been quick to respond to any issues, though we had none during our 5 nights stay. Highly recommended!"

"This rental did not disappoint. Everything was as described. Our daughter got married in the Redwoods and we needed a place that we could host a small reception. This property seemed way bigger than the square footage listed. The backyard and patio area were perfect for our small gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils and cookware. "Wonderful property and stay. The home is right on river and has everything u can need for a comfortable stay including a jacuzzi overlooking the river. Property was near redwoods and wonderful trails. When not on river, we were hiking with redwoods and vice versa. It was 2 of us and a little parrot. Lovely time had by all. Thank u"

"Nicely decorated beautiful home with all necessities in the kitchen we loved our stay had a blast . The views of the ocean are amazing. The only suggestion I would have is if somebody could go and cut back some of the bushes on the path down to the ocean it was full of berry stickers and wasn't easy to walk through it all. Other than the pathway being a little cluttered with overgrowth it was a wonderful weekend."

"A really great stay. The only thing lacking was a view but the unit was fantastic. Everything is new and the location is great. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and groceries. Everything needed was provided and the host provided lots of ideas on things to do. Highly recommended!"

"We absolutely loved this darling little cabin in the woods. It was so cozy and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Close to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Crescent city. Not too far from Prairie Creek Redwoods either, if you like exploring the coast and various trails. We can’t wait to come back to visit."

"Love this house!! It was a perfect location to everything we wanted to go to. The added bonus was that it was right across the road from a park. I was afraid it would be too busy of a road for my little ones, but it was a very quiet street and I did t have to worry about them. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very nice home and location. You could spend a whole weekend just by foot walking to the nearby beaches, light house, brewery, pier, tide pools, post office, etc. we only had to go into town once to the supermarket that was less than 5 mins away. This home has so many extra amenities like the outdoor hot tube with a view of the lighthouse and the sea. This home definitely had a welcoming vibe with great quality of all the important details plus you can feel the care and appreciation the owners...
