"The location was perfect, our host was extremely responsive and helpful. Chris gave us tips and set us up with the ferry Captain. Even though the large restaurant was closed there are 2 chefs that prepare wonderful meals! The srore/museum was ooen go meet the sweet manager! Thank you Chris for a wonderful family vacation!"

"Castaway Cottage was as quaint and clean as can be. We absolutely loved it. And it was so much fun using the golf cart. We dined at the restaurant and learned how to make the Smith Island cake. And we were blessed by the camp meeting on Sunday. It was a wonderful stay. And of course Laura was just great."

"My family (several adults and a 12-yr old) was in the area to enjoy the long July 4th weekend festivities in Reedville and we couldn't have had better accommodations! All the positive comments in the previous reviews of this property are absolutely true! It was immaculately clean, with all the amenities that we needed. The host was 100% responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We definitely look forward to staying there again!"

Ingram bay Marina was an excellent half way point directly on the bay with phenomenal sunrises & sunsets (a key component in a place to stay). "Overall we had a nice stay as the location of the house and the property are lovely and provide a lot of privacy. We were disappointed at the number of things that were broken or not provided (although they were mentioned on the amenities list). The property is currently up for sale and it seems the owners are no longer as interested in keeping up the property anymore."

"This place is the bee knees. Tucked away in a quiet woods setting. Georgia is probably the best host Ive ever had, honestly. Cute, clean, has everything you need and then some. Dock is a short walk to enjoy peace, quiet and kayaking."

"If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is your spot. We were charmed by the beautiful views, the comfort of the house, the birdwatching, and the stunning sunrises. The house has everything you could need, including lots of kid-friendly extras that we aren't accustomed to finding in rental homes (toys, a step stool for reaching the sink, small plastic plates, small utensils, etc.). We'll certainly pack lighter when we come back! There are yummy restaurants around the area, and very cute...
