"this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. "We've come back to Snowshoe with another large group, 8 families. This is the second time we have stayed in this house, and I can promise you it won’t be the last. This is a great house for a large group. Plenty of room and supplies in the house. We did have a small issue with a leak on the last day during a crazy rain storm. We let the owner know and he sent maintenance over. We love staying in this house as it is perfect for large groups and kids. We’ll see you again next year!!!"

"House was very nice. Owners have all normal amenities along with some other added touches such as coffee, toilet paper and paper towels. We had one issue and owner was quick to respond with a repair. The house wasvrt very comfortable. "
