My only issue was there are no “public areas” to relax in and the cover picture set a scene looking over the water but there is a very busy road along the front of the property below the photo making the garden not very relaxing"

"O hotel é bom, central, mas a decepção ficou por conta de constar no site do hoteis.com que tem estacionamento (essencial para quem vai de carro e se hospeda num hotel central). Pois bem, o hotel tem mais de 80 apartamentos e somente umas 12 vagas de estacionamento. Chegamos lá e já estava lotado. Aí só estacionando na rua (que seria um problema no Brasil pela segurança, mas lá não). O problema é que na rua tem que pagar e limite de no máximo 2 horas e na noite, só até as 9 da manhã. "Hotel under construction, dirty rooms scaffolding up, building works ongoing. In disrepair. Wallpaper falling off in rooms n corridors walls wet n damp marks. Stairs had saw dust n flaking plaster, screws lying on them on more than one occasion, Pieces of wood in corridors and reception n construction workers wandering around . no restuarant facilities as advertised it's closed for refurbishment for few months. Access not user friendly."

"What an absolutely pleasant surprise this was. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the room we had was wonderful. Compact to be fair but well presented and very well appointed. Parking right outside and off street with a very pleasant walk down to the wonderful place that Oban is. The only negative was staying for only one night. Could have gladly stayed another three or four but the one night was memorable all the same thanks to wonderful hosts."

"Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!).
