"I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!"

"We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. Owner was very responsive to all my messages, including...

"We had a wonderful stay - the house was amazing! We had four families with young adult children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location on the lake was perfect for just hanging out on the dock, floating in the water, or hoping on our boat for some skiing and tubing. The house had all the amenities you could ask for, just like being at home. Bob and Rosemary were fantastic hosts—very responsive and accommodating. A great time was had by all, and we would absolutely stay again."

Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. "Beautiful property, recently updated inside and out. Great location near restaurants and groceries. Owner was very responsive to our questions. We hope to stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! I was a little skeptical about the shared boat dock and basically the back yard once I realized it was shared. However, the neighbors were very friendly and it really was no issue at all. The home was clean and relaxing! Host was kind and informative. Great place to stay!"

"We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!"
