Left me strained and looking for a place to stay. VRBO was unhelpful at helping look or to offer to pay for place for me to stay for a night or two."

"I will probably NEVER use VRBO again ... when I tried to check in to get instructions for address and check in. I tried 18 yes EIGHTEEN of the codes you sent to my email to VERIFY me .. and 18 yes EIGHTEEN times it said INVALID CODE!!!!!!! Only my God helped me... I contacted a friend who lives near by to help me find who owned and how to get in. OTHERWISE i would have sent my payment and had NO idea where to go or how to get in. Your "service" was AWFUL!! I will use any other before I try VRBO...

"This property is very nice & clean. It is comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The deck is a great place to sit & enjoy the sunrise. The only negative is they don’t want you to flush anything other than natural waste, not even toilet tissue, due to rural septic system."

"Rented this house with a group of friends and their young kids and all of us loved this home. It was very secluded and we didnt see a single person out there, which we loved. "We were ready for a short getaway and found the perfect one. When we walked into the cabin we just stopped and looked around, the most AWESOME place. It felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect and was so peaceful and quiet. The lake was right there. The stars at night were so vivid. We felt as the hosts were more neighbors, actually wound up feeling as though they were family. They made our stay amazing. We plan on going back to "Our Little Piece of Heaven" and stay longer."

"This property is perfect for working crews in the Refugio area. We were able to park our equipment on site and felt comfortable with it there. The owners were extremely flexible with our group and our trip days. We really enjoyed the outdoor setting with the outside cooking options since everyone felt relaxed outside after work. The bunk houses for extra accommodations worked well for our time there. We definitely recommend staying here."

"* Warning, long winded* We loved our stay. The cabin is cozy with plenty of comfortable sleeping space and temperature control. The host was easy to get ahold of when needed, responded quickly, was pleasant, and even let us know when we had animal visitors. Lots of deer in the area. The place was stocked with basically all the basics we needed. We fished a little. Right in front of the steps is a spot you need to watch your step, otherwise the way down to the river is good.
