    Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Situated on a section of the River Steeping known as the ’Haven’, these beautifully converted cottages offer cosy, stylish holiday accommodation in a peaceful, picturesque location and enjoy country views. All three properties have the added benefit of a private hot tub. Originally agricultural buildings dating from 1872, access to the cottages is via a private lane on the owner’s arable farm, which itself is steeped in history. Guests are welcome to explore over 80 acres of riverbank and tracks, ideal for wildlife watching and romantic strolls. Just 800 yards away is the medieval town of Wainfleet All Saints. Here visitors will find a weekly market and street auctions, pubs, a famous brewery with visitor tours, restaurants and shops. Award-winning sandy beaches, family entertainment and amusements can be found 5 miles away in Skegness, and Fantasy Island fun park is 8 miles. Gunby Hall is 7 miles and Tattersall Castle 15 miles, both National Trust. Horncastle, famous for antiques, is 15 miles and the medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is 40 miles. Shops and pub 800 yards.. All properties: Underfloor electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. Highchair. Laundry room with washing machine and coin-operated tumble dryer (shared). Enclosed garden with garden furniture. 80-acre grounds (shared). Hot tub (private). River fishing 100 yards (foc). Parking. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only, no stag or hen parties. There is an unfenced river in the grounds.

Lovely property, well appointed, with a really nice+private hot tub. Local village is a 5 min walk away....Co-Op for any shopping you may need, a few takeaways and two pubs (both dog friendly). Really quiet location....very friendly locals.....definitely thinking of going again.

Lovely cottage in a nice setting. The village is easy to get to on foot with a couple of pubs, take away sand coop. The cottage was well equipped and really clean. The only reason that it’s not a 5 star review is because there were no spare pillows and the ones provided were really hard, and gave me headaches.

Booked as a last minute short break Salem Veiw did not disapoint. Our stay was over a very cold weekend, the cottage was lovely and warm and never felt cold. A well equipped cottage with tea and biscuits provided. We didn't use the Hot Tub but maybe next time.

Relaxing stay

Just home from our fab holiday at Salem View. The photos don’t do it justice at all! Lovely space, well equipped and huge hot tub - what’s not to like?! The river is so close and my husband spent many hours fishing, just metres from the door. We had a great week exploring Lincolnshire and would come back again readily.

Perfect Break

Set in a lovely quiet location the cottage has everything you need. The enclosed garden was great for the dog. The jacuzzi was lovely and much needed after a day at the beach. Shops and pub all within 5 minute walk.

Fantastic little cottage .

We had a lovely few days at Salem View.

We had a lovely few days at Salem View. Everything was spotless and the wine was a nice welcome! Trevor was there if we needed him, but everything we needed was there.... Loved the hot tub, really relaxing and easy to use! Best meal out was at The Chequers Inn at Croft, very handy and good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value too. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to return ourselves, maybe next year. Thanks Trevor.....shame we only met Cobweb as we were leaving!

A week of pure bliss, locally it's quiet, wonderful walks along the riverbank, but only 10mins away from Skegness, and large supermarkets. Gibraltar Point is the perfect place for a walk and the beautiful beach. And the perfect end of the day was to get in your own jacuzzi, so relaxing, definitely coming back, the absolute best way to unwind from a hectic life.
