"From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Lovely couple with lovely welcome. Room spotless and amazing comfy bed. Close enough to walk to town, but far enough to be quiet. Great little honesty bar ideal for last minute snack. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"Hotel situated in a quite part of the town, yet not far from sea front and shops. Our room on ground floor was very good, clean warm , breakfast very very good, loads to choose from full breakfast piping hot. Can not find any fault with the hotel."

"After a last minute trip for my daughters birthday and a quick phone call with John, we booked three rooms. Upon arrival John met us and showed us the rooms and gave us some information about the local area. Rooms were spot on, amazing location and a quality price. As a commuter, I do not often leave feedback as I stop out quite a lot, however the family rooms are amazing and I will be back again with my family!"

"Excellent stay with friendly hosts. Comfortable and cosy ensuite room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Very good, freshly cooked breakfast. Ample on street parking available and within 5-10 minutes walk of Skegness Pier and easy driving distance to Butlins. I would certainly stay again if seeking bed and breakfast accommodation in Skegness."

"I had a really good stay at the Southwold. The owners were helpful and friendly and the B&B was clean and tidy. The breakfasts in the morning were also large and tasty. I had the single room right up on the top floor, which was up a normal flight of stairs, then a second steeper set which I didn't mind but others may have trouble with. I also had a separate large bathroom, which was on the other side of the landing. However this was no trouble for me. There was a bit of a walk to the pier and...

"This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. "

"Apartment is in a great location close to beach & attractions. Staff were welcoming & friendly and let us check in 2 hours early which was appreciated as it was raining. Apartment is well presented but very grubby and dated. Found the room & pillows to smell of grease/cooked food, carpet was filthy & beds were so uncomfortable we cut the trip short by a night. Overall not the worst place I have stayed, but definitely not worth the money & won’t be returning."

"Check in was quick and easy. Caravan was spotless everything we needed in there. Site facilities were incredible, lovely park, soft play on site which was free to use! Nightlife was so good, the ‘superstars’ were fantastic with the children, remembering some of their names, very welcoming and inclusive to everyone. Swimming pool was lovely! Little splash pool for the baby’s/toddlers with a little slide, a splash area with water fountains and then the main pool along with two large slides and...

"We enjoyed our short two night stay in the van. Had no trouble finding the van. Dog loved the veranda sitting there chatting to the neighbours dogs. Short walk to the shop-morrisons. And a nice walk into ingoldmells. Everything you need for a few nights is in the caravan. Didn't really use the kitchen utensils so can't comment. One negative thing is, the beds weren't very comfy, we made do for two nights but gave me back ache after the second night. It wouldn't stop me from returning....
