"Stayed here unplanned after our car needed to go in unexpectedly and absolutely loved it! Adorable set up. The owner was incredibly nice, even helped us pick our car when it was ready. Staying with all the animals was so much fun. Hiking bald mountain was so cool, we got to ID some new lichen and mushrooms. P.S. the eggs are delicious and I think their horse just had a foal right before we left!?"

"Poperty is very private in location and absolutely amazing. House was very clean and well equipped for all needs. We hosted a couple of dinners in the dinniing room. The kitchen had everything we needed for our lobster bake night and our italian night. We would highly recommend this poperty if you are looking for private and spacious home."

"We LOVED our stay at this cabin! The host Debbie was easy to communicate with, flexible, and provided tons of thoughtful recommendations for things to do nearby! The cabin and the surrounding property was beautiful and so fun to explore! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. There's plenty of firewood and all the essential kitchen appliances/cookware. We will definitely be back to this beautiful, historic property! "

"The place is everything as described----and more. I was there for only 15 or so hours but it is such a beautiful and peaceful place, awash in beauty and nature, if felt like a whole restful vacation. I was in Bangor for a work training and arrived at 6am rested, inspired, and ready to go. The bed is perfect. the sectional is comfortable, Wifi top-rate. Kitchen has everything you need. "Our stay felt like home. We were close enough to Bangor to get back and forth. Comfortable surrounding. Parking a dodge ram was a bit tight. But we managed. Ivy and Kyle were so helpful with our questions or little requests. I would stay on site again. Thanks for everything. "

"We came from Florida to visit family . We went canoeing & enjoyed having a fire out back & watching the ufc fights on the big screen . We were all very comfy and cozy and Corey and Amy We’re very accommodating! We sure look forward to coming back and staying again soon!!!"

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
