"My little weekend getaway was made perfect because i have picked to stay in this little coastal gem. The staff was very friendly, and they keep this motel clean. It cannot be compared to big chain hotels because this building is older and it shows wear of typical property battered by coastal weather. What makes it much better is the feel of home away from home. Our room had everything we needed - microwave, coffee maker, TV, refrigerator, comfortable bed and shower with surprisingly strong water...

"Very noisy rooms, related to neighboring rooms. No screen doors on decks over looking ocean, had to leave door open to experience beach air and sounds, flys came in our room."

"Hotel is old and needs renovations but the location is nice."

"I had several bug bites that appeared to be bed bug bites after leaving this property. I then had to take precautions and wash everything and quarantine my suitcases to be safe. The breakfast was a bunch of thawed out items, not great. If it weren't for the bugs, it would have been ok. Glad I only stayed one night."

"This is a very clean property on a hill located at the edge of ‘Old Town’ Florence; only a three block walk to restaurants, galleries, and bars. Overall, very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding local points of interests. Very quiet at night. Only one criticism, which may not impact all travelers - Internet bandwidth is limited/unstable , and in my case, hampered zoom meeting participation during 6am PT (9am EST)...
