The region also offers many options with quiet and idyllic swimming areas, as well as the possibility for small boat rental rides in safe waters.

There are 2 supermarkets in Vourvourou, at 500m and 1km distance. A mini-market can be found at 300m, which also sells sweets, pies, newspapers etc. Further amenities and all large chain supermarkets can be found towards or within major hub town Nikiti (17kms).
