The apartment is an integral part of Casa Ezio Marchi (the birthplace of the zootechnician Ezio Marchi), an ancient property that once also housed a Chianina cattle stable. The villa has been recently restored according to the principles of bio-sustainable architecture and offers peace and greenery while remaining close to major road connections, making it an ideal base for exploring Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio.

La Casina di Sotto enjoys independent access from the garden and is also wheelchair accessible.

The villa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac just outside the historic centre of Bettolle, with views stretching across Bettolle, Cortona, Montepulciano, Montefollonico, and the Cetona and Amiata mountains. Surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, and cypresses, there is no shortage of green space and open countryside.

Guests can enjoy a 6-metre diameter above-ground swimming pool, and a natural saltwater swimming pond is currently under construction.

The property is also equipped with an EV charging station for electric vehicles, where guests can recharge at competitive rates.
