"Wir waren 2 Wochen auf der abgelegenen Farm und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Man hört natürlich gelegentlich die Schafe. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Bis nach Keswick fährt man ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Matthew, der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. We spent 2 weeks on the outlying farm and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Of course you can hear the sheep occasionally. The house offers plenty of space and is lovingly furnished....

"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. "Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."

"The hut is as described on the website - no nasty surprises. Views are stunning even in the rain. Plenty of space to bbq / camp fire outside. It is quite remote spot which is what we were looking for and if there had been no cloud I’m sure the star show would’ve been spectacular."

"We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails.
