The Asger Jorn Museum is 5 km away and well worth a visit. Lake Thorsø offers canoes, kayaks, and fishing rods for rent—paddle over to the Brugsen in Virklund for an ice cream or take a dip. The forest around you is home to extensive horseback riding trails, hiking routes, and bike paths.
