"We had a wonderful time at the Lake of the Woods. It was a very relaxing place. What I liked mostly is the private lake because it was just steps away and we did not have to have a licence. We enjoyed fishing with my husband. The older stove/oven/refrigerator/ pantry was super charming. I also liked that although it was in the woods and felt far away from the city, Showlow was jist 10 mins away if we forgot something or wanted to have a nicer ait down dinner at a restaurant. "

"This house has everything f you need for your stay. This was our first time using a VRBO type housing and we enjoyed it. The house doesn’t have AC which being in the mountains normally shouldn’t be a problem. The hoat was great with communication "

"We liked the layout and unique space inside and outside of the cabin. Things to note: The fan was hanging off the ceiling in the bunk bed room. It gets hot in there, and the fan would be scary to use with a person on top anyway. The water heater doesn't support many people takinga bath/shower at once. Water got cold fast. "This was an amazing experience for my family! We had 3 generations and people with many different needs and the space seemed to have something for everyone. A big fenced yard where everyone could play cornhole, enjoy the hot tub or chill on the porch or around the firepit. We could see the stars at night, it was peaceful, but being only a few minutes away from Show Low Lake was convenient for a nice day trip.
