"What a fantastic place to stay. All amenities available in the cottage. Clean comfortable and bigger than the pictures give it justice. Friendly welcome with milk and cookies. Large garden to rear of property. Great central location."

"The cottage is in a great location to access all parts of the island. Decor and furnishing are on the basic side, but this is more than reflected in the price. The garden has lovely views - a picnic table is provided but I suggest taking your own camping chairs for more comfy, longer term seating. The cottage is on a B road with some traffic at times but the noise was not intrusive, and was non-existent overnight. "Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky. We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!"

"Amazing all the staff was no problem at all for anything and Dean and Bea were very friendly and ensured we had all we wanted during our xmas break. Will defo be back and recommend to family and friends. Rooms cold but we was looked after with heating timings re set and a portable rad, perfect ams room clean prefect view did a xmas getaway thanks a lot for making our stay special "

"Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!"
