"Claire and Chris our hosts were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A great welcome after our 6 hour drive! The car pass was all ready for us to park our car, our room was ready too. On arrival we were offered tea and coffee and a great choice of chocolate bars! Perfect! Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choice hot and cold. The views from the guest house are beautiful. There are lots of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Nothing was too much trouble....

"What an amazing find. I have been going to Brixham since I was 6 years old (now 40) and had never stayed here, but so happy I did. Super friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Keep it up guys! I would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation."

"Nice bed and breakfast with great views from our harbour view room. Staff helpful and friendly and very dog friendly. Lovely breakfast and handy being able to book a parking space. Great location to Brixham with their lovely pub down the road and plenty of nice places to eat too. Definitely recommend."

"Promotion pictures deceiving as rooms not great. Just a lack of care. Very pricey for what it is. Wish I’d stayed at a bed and breakfast as I’d have been more comfortable at a fraction of the cost. It was central which is about as positive as I can be about the place."

" We really enjoyed this quirky cottage. despite its age it was clean, cosy, and spacious. Appreciated the historical notes. Very interesting. Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing. Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. The fire already laid up. However, surprised that other basics seemed to be overlooked*.All nearby NT locations well worth a visit. We were lucky with the weather. Thank you! ...

"Lovely cottage. Plenty of room, very clean and comfortable. Amazing views over the harbour from every window. Nice little balcony to sit out on. Private off road parking is a bonus. Really enjoyed my stay here."

"The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it."

"Room was spacious with large tv. T8ssue and part of hairbrush behind large table. Missing fixings in shower and shower bowl filled up with water. Curtain rail was missing fixing. Bed was comfortable and nice view of sea. Be prepared for a 20mins walk down a steep hill to town centre. Hydro baths were nice"

"Love the location of this hotel it’s perfect. We had a few drinks in reception that was priced well. Breakfast had a varied selection and you could help yourself to as much as you like. Staff were very helpful and friendly."
