Casas de Férias em Shoal Bay, NSW

"The property was very pet friendly and well fenced. Located short distance to beach and shops by car. Very clean and welcoming. "

"Yes- the driveway is steep! But it was no problem for us. The property is beautiful, clean, fresh and updated and the view and location are excellent. Best equipped kitchen of any short-term rental we’ve been in. It was great and we would book again!"

"The house was great the outside area is perfect and with two small dogs having a safe place to run was trouble free. The back sliding door sticks a bit but if that is all I can find as a downside the house is fabulous and the location is close to everything you could need. We based ourselves there for beach 4WD and worked out great."

"The property was good but it wasn’t very child friendly "

"Very well provisioned, clean tidy and comfortable Easy to get to beaches, Nelson Bay etc."

"Location was excellent for us but this is overpriced for what it is, basic. Some gardening and sweeping out the front would provide a better welcome. Entry via a garage roller door is novel but functional, then we were met with the BBQ area with a multitude of chairs and a very dusty table. Already on guard when entering the unit, it didn’t seem clean. Maybe as left by the previous guest with the bed made and fresh towels. On checking we noted that there was plenty of coffee pods but no espresso...

"Enjoyed every moment of our stay. Great location and beautiful property. Very comfortable and clean. Great communication from our host. Very smooth check in. Driveway and parking was tricky but did not effect our stay in any way 10/10"

"Good location… we were greeted by approximately 25 dead cockroaches..screen door lock on front door could do with some attention. But overall we had a pleasant stay. Would book again."

"Location perfect, house was lovely. Beds fantastic. Was not a modern home but it was perfect for our families. The other reviews did have me very worried about our stay but I was very pleasantly surprised. The patio and views were just spectacular. The is no TV upstairs but we actually loved that. Please don’t let the previous reviews stop you from booking. We had a great holiday. "

"Very disappointing. The house was in a good position with great views. But it needed a really good clean. The windows had cobwebs and bird droppings which I had to clean off in order to see outside. When I pulled back the bedding on my last day, the mattress protector had completely disintegrated, and there were tiny flakes of plastic everywhere. I don't think it had ever been changed. It made me feel awful to know I'd been sleeping on that."

"The host was welcoming. The sheets had a damp smell as if they had been put on the beds without being fully dry, which four of my family members complained about. In all other ways, it was a lovely stay and the views were gorgeous."

"House is MASSIVE and perfect for families with teenagers. Downstairs has 2 double bedrooms, laundry and teens tv lounge. Upstairs open plan, modern furniture, bright outlook onto 8 seater dining/bbq area. Excellent lighting throughout the property. Amazing view of the sea and Tomaree. Quite spectacular observing the massive storm roll in, although 22 hour powercut not so great! Master bedroom is ENORMOUS…walk-in wardrobe, bathroom & separate toilet. Little bridge walkway back into...

"I think the family who own this house love it and want others to also enjoy it. The bedding, cushions, toiletries , ornaments are all lovely. Air conditioning great as is fenced back yard. Position great, excellent Thai restaurant down the road. But the house is a major trip hazard. Virtually every room has a different level floor. As older people we found it terrifying. The two ramps to the backyard are steep. Also you can’t cut a bathroom in two tiny segments and expect it to be...

"This property is great as a communal holiday house. Good location for access to Nelson Bay. Quiet street and the house is well set up. "
