"It was a great, clean place, exactly as advertised. The host was quick to respond when I couldn't find the door in the dark (my bad). My only thoughts: it would be nice to have a lamp by the bedside and the smallest Keurig for a single cup of coffee. But overall, it was a very nice place to stay and was in the perfect location for the event I was attending.."

"The Guest House and general property all around was charming and very well kept. There is a surprise for guests as they drive up the long gravel path to the guest property. I will not divulge it, because the surprise is fun. The kitchen was fine for cooking. There are lots of small appliances hidden away in the cupboards so be sure to check. "The suite was perfect for us. Everything seemed new and very modern. We were visiting family at Royal Bay and location was perfect. Also very close to many restaurants and shopping. But good to know is that there is no ‘live’ TV. YouTube, Netflix and Prime all worked great on a large TV. Owner was very responsive and easy to contact."

"The view from the kitchen with the sunrise over the lake as I drank my morning coffee was breathtaking. They had everything I needed, although I always bring my own pots and pants because my daughter has celiac… The host was wonderful and always answered right away..there are even boats to use a fun pub (cheap uber ride) that has karaoke. And grocery nearby there’s even a little park that kids can play in. I would definitely return."

"What an amazing cabin! It was super clean and fresh. Very private, with its own parking, outdoor area with fire pit, BBQ and hot tub! Really good location for exploring Sooke, Metchosin, and the surrounding area. It's right beside the Galloping Goose trail (an old rail trail), so bring your bikes!"
