private villa kai is a fully private, whole-house villa where a sweeping ocean view is yours alone, from morning until dark. Wake to a wall of blue where the sky melts into the sea. Open the terrace doors and the sea breeze runs straight through the house. From the ship's-deck balcony, a private stairway leads down to the sand, and the sound of the waves becomes the only soundtrack you need. There is no one else on the property. Just the water, the sky, and the quiet luxury of doing nothing at all.

SLEEPING (Sleeps 10)
Sea Side - "Movement": Floor-to-ceiling windows fill this room with the ocean. The beds are set to face the view, so the first thing you see in the morning is light moving on the water.

Forest Side - "Stillness": If the sea side is movement, the forest side is stillness. Surrounded by green, this room is quiet and enclosed. Soft light filters through the trees in the morning; at night the trees are lit from below, and the view turns still and dreamlike.

Sleeping arrangements: seven single beds, one sofa bed and two folding beds, sleeping up to ten guests in total. Bedding, linens and towels are provided for all guests.

TERRACE AND THE BEACH
The private terrace runs along the front of the house, with a dedicated stairway leading directly down to the beach below. Watch the water from a garden sofa, or walk down and stand at the water's edge. There is no boundary between the two. An outdoor garden shower lets you rinse off the sand before you come back in.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, rice cooker and electric kettle. Complete cookware and utensils: pots, frying pan, knife, cutting board, cooking chopsticks, ladle, turner, peeler, bottle opener and wine key. Tableware and cutlery provided, along with basic seasonings (salt, pepper, cooking oil), sponge and dish soap. An electric barbecue grill is available for grilling on the terrace.

BATH AND WASHROOMS
One indoor bath, two showers and one outdoor garden shower. Two washroom areas and two toilets, so a group is never waiting. Two hair dryers provided.

ENTERTAINMENT AND COMFORT
Projector with a motorized drop-down screen and ceiling speakers for films or music. Wood-burning stove. Air conditioning. Three-seat sofa indoors, garden sofa outdoors. Free Wi-Fi throughout.

LOCATION
Quiet and secluded, but not remote. Nanki-Shirahama Airport is about a ten-minute drive away. A supermarket, convenience store, drugstore, home center and restaurants are all within roughly five minutes by car, so shopping and meals during your stay are easy. Free on-site parking. A car is recommended for getting around.

HOUSE RULES AND GOOD TO KNOW
The villa is rented as a whole house to one group at a time, with a maximum of ten guests. No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets. No events. The property is for registered guests only; visitors who are not staying at the villa are not permitted. Please take care on the stairway down to the beach, especially after dark and with small children. Swimming is at your own risk; there is no lifeguard on the beach.
