"Even though, I had pet friendly in my search criteria where this property showed up, I was not advised of a pet fee before checking in and was only advised when checking out. I had no problems personally paying an extra fee, I would have just like to have known up front. The place was perfect for me and my trip to the area. The host was great and even recommended local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!!!! Jeff 08/26"

"This is such a beautiful little cabin. It’s in a really quiet neighborhood nestled back away from the highway. The beds were comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The furnishings were really nice. We sat out on the deck and drank a beer and watched the wild life by the pond. They have an awesome goat that I name Billy Gibbons because he had an awesome ZZ Top beard. He evidently likes having his head scratched. We will definitely come back if we are in the neighborhood. "The Pickwick Perch was an excellent choice for a little weekend getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. Super cute set up with all the needed necessities. Full well equipped kitchen and dining area. The space and layout was very open and inviting. Everything was clean and tidy. The waffle towels in the bathroom were amazing and a great touch lol. It’s the small things sometimes. Very quiet and relaxing place. The host Robert was super friendly and very responsive. Overall 10/10 stay....

"I love the solitude of this place: birds singing and rabbits running across the yard; sitting on the porch in a rocking chair enjoying the gentle breeze. This place has character and charm that makes for a restful relaxing stay. The owners are very helpful and gracious as well; this is one of my favorite places to stay!"
