"I didn't like that when I went to go check in, I was told my room was canceled.
On the booking site, it said , PAY AT PROPERTY at check in.... When I went to check in and pay, I was told that my credit card couldn't be processed.. Why are they trying to run my credit card if I hadn't even checked in? Now if I had gone in, in person and my card couldn't be processed, then I would understand it being canceled..
I booked this room in January and had the funds to pay at check in..

"For the price the motel is decent.
Keep in mind if you rent the top room 3 beds. It’s above the owners home. If you have kids, this isn’t for you. I got a complaint we “were making too much noise” felt like we were walking on eggshells to not make noise. Pool is nice."

"The wall had a bloody booger on the wall. The toilet made a very loud, continuous, running sound. The hand towel had makeup on it when we got there. The cleaning staff circled our room multiple times before we had to check out and left their carts in front of our door, making it very difficult to walk out."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island.
The first issue occurred before we even got into our room. We arrived early and were told our room was available and ready, yet the hotel wanted to charge an additional $80 just to check in a few hours early. Charging that much for access to an empty room that was already prepared felt excessive and left a poor first impression.
Unfortunately, things did not improve after check-in. A dog in a nearby room...

This time we had rude employee named Stephanie and she had a bad attitude and made us wait 20 minutes in the lobby, until I called the hotel and told her we were in the front. "This was my second stay…and my LAST! These guys tried to charge me $20/ per room to check in2 hours early 2 rooms they said were ready. When I refused and came back in 2 hours, they claimed the rooms were not ready. We had to wait another hour. There are other and better hotels in the same price range. This one sucked."
