"The inside of the house was great and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and well kept. The hot tub never got very hot but the home owner communicated with us the entire time and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very nice and even offered to let us check out late. Only reason I give it four instead of five stars is because 1) The Hot Tub and 2) The back yard was a bit over grown and could have used a fresh mowing. Aside from the two thing mentioned above it was great."

My husband and I enjoyed our evenings out by the fire pit and when it got a bit chilly, we relaxed in the hot tub. We also spent much needed family time around the pool table. "Elicia was great - she checked in on us multiple times to ensure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful! Only a 45-minute drive from Cypress (which is great for two toddlers) and has lots to do, including swimming, fishing, games, etc., for the adults and kiddos. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely keep in mind for future getaways."

"It's a beautiful property both inside and out, with lots of room to spread out! The photos represent the property well and the home was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The children really enjoyed exploring the property and having their own bunkroom. The fire pit was a lovely way to end our evenings. The host was very accommodating and responsive! "We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the house in La Grange. The house was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning and evening, listening to the birds. We took a fun ride through the pasture in the ATV, and even did a little fishing in the pond. The house was just a quick drive away from Schulenburg for our tour of the painted churches. It worked out perfectly for our visit."

"We came in for the Cattle Country Music Festival my husband and I and 3 teenage girls. We found this place last minute we always like somewhere different to stay and this was up our alley. Coolest place they did a great job restoring the Sinclair down to the little details to make you feel at home. We will definitely re book and recommend it to friends and family."

"This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby."
