"While Dayton is a smaller community, the Dayton Inn and the town itself exceeded our expectations! This hotel has 12 beautifully appointed rooms with exceptional upgrades such as heated towel bars in the bathroom, afternoon wine and cheese social and wonderful bedding. The manager cheerfully greeted us at check in and although our room wasn't ready, she provided many options in town to consider while we waited. The location is very convenient to so many different wineries and the town itself...

"What a great place to stay! Don't be put off by the shared bathroom, it's way cleaner then half of the hotels I've stayed in! It's right downtown. Comfy beds. Staff was great. Couldn't ask for anything else, a wonderful stay. Ah, one thing, parking is about 2 short blocks away, but safe, easy walk."

"Conveniently located. The staff was nice. The hotel is due for a makeover. The bed was okay. The furniture was old and looked dirty and office chair material was torn. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. The shower curtain pole was loose. The coffee pot was missing a part. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient."

"The main issue this stay was the amount of kids slamming doors morning and night. The talk to the coaches did no good. Very disappointing this stay at a hotel I have stayed at multiple times before. Be better. That team and group should have been asked to leave and check out immediately. Not sure we will return. "

"Beds were great - large and comfortable. However, the carpet was worn through in front of our room. The toilet clogged up, and the indigent clientele was a bit of a surprise. There is some sort of social services program being run there, as we saw social service room checks being conducted, people without shoes and poor clothing and people with very severe health issues. Great that they are helping the less fortunate, just would let people know ahead of time."

"Room was clean, bathroom looked like the maid left half way through the job. Walls were gunky, toilet didn’t appear to have been cleaned, shower was nice and clean. Parked right outside our room so we could keep an eye on the car. Staff was friendly."
