"Return visit, overnight stay to attend a funeral next morning. Checked in at 8:10pm (not a very warm welcome), only to be told the restaurant closes at 8pm. In a hotel! I asked if an exception could please be made as it was only a few minutes, and we’d been driving over 2 hours, but was told no (without even asking the kitchen) - no bar food available either. Disappointing. Also asked to complete a paper “order form” at check in for breakfast the next day. That was a first.

"Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back "

"Disappointing.
On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows.
No WiFi in the room.
Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs.
