"This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. "This is a beautiful property with interesting history. The room was comfortable. The innkeepers are very gracious and helpful. While not located in the heart of the historic district, it’s a short walk away. Quite honestly, it’s better than being in the heart anyway - more quiet and easier parking. There is a fantastic bar just behind the house, and Snallygasters (best restaurant in town) is next door. "

"Our stay at Moore House Inn was great! The family that runs the Inn is nothing short of amazing. They were so welcoming and although we had car issues during our stay the couple did everything they could to ensure we still enjoyed our visit! The inn was comfy and welcoming!
