South on Lower Pacific Road about 1 mile.

Black Sands Beach is the entrance of the Lost Coast Trail Head. This is an expansive beach with rare black rock where you can picnic and watch the waves crashing down. Please don`t try to swim here as it is unsafe for water sports. Black Sands Beach is a five-minute drive north on Lower Pacific, then north (left) on to Upper Pacific to Humboldt Loop Road.
