Recently remodeled single level, high end home with 180 degrees spectacular Lost Coast views. Relax and enjoy the splendor of the Pacific from this modern luxury home. Two ocean view bedrooms on opposite ends of the home ensure plenty of privacy. The ensuite main bedroom has a free-standing tub under an exquisite abalone shell chandelier, bidet and walk in shower.
Any chef would be right at home in this very well-equipped kitchen which includes a Wolf range and Subzero refrigerator, with many useful small appliances. If you prefer to cook outside, there is a gas barbeque in the garage to be used on the driveway.
You are ensured a restful night's sleep on the king size Ghost mattresses on both beds. The master bed is a split king, adjustable for comfort and support with premium bedding.

Luxurious, yet comfy, home. This home has spoiled us. Everything, from the ocean views down to the beds, was amazing. There were so many details that we kept pointing out: the rocking chairs on the deck, the chandelier in the dining area, the home-made spice mixtures in the kitchen, even the beach towels that were thoughtfully provided. The owners have thought of everything.I recommend leaving the sliding doors in each bedroom that lead to the deck open during the night. Waking up to the pounding surf and ocean mist was such an incredible way to start the day.
The sunset that first night was magical.

Stunning property with majestic views. The views are really beyond description. Ocean and waves and crashing surf forever. The house itself is so well-designed and of such high quality materials that you’d enjoy your trip even if it rained continually and you were forced to stay inside the entire time.

Perfect Place in Shelter Cove

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place in Shelter Cove. The house was perfect for 4 friends to meet up, cook meals together, sip wine on the deck, enjoy the incredible view, plan hikes and beach walks, complete a jigsaw puzzle, and watch movies together. It was extremely well equipped. We whole-heartedly recommend it!

Words are not enough, BOOK this home- AMAZING!

I am not even sure where to begin. As we drove to the home, which please don't go in the dark (suggested by the owner) for good reason, we were a bit worried as there wasn't much around the area. We passed by a small general store with 2 gas pumps from the 80's and thought oh goodness where are we staying?! We got to the house and opened the door and HOLY MOLY!!! You will walk into the kitchen/living area and look straight through to the most amazing view with a wrap around deck! The kitchen is equipped with the most amazing appliances including a WOLF stove!!! The space is open and inviting! The home is decorated as if you are in a magazine but comfy enough to live in. The bedrooms both with the views and the mattress/sheets and pillows. The bathrooms, I mean, wow!! The hand soap bar was amazing! The singing bowls and buddhas were just our style. The CRYSTALS!!! wow!! We did yoga in the open living space. We enjoyed the views every morning and every night! The STARS!!! The waves crashing every night through the open windows in the bedroom! The house was so clean! This place will be our forever favorite of all 4 stops/homes we travelled to on this trip! We can't wait to come back! Shelter Cove is a little gem and a place to turn off and stay in! WE LOVED this place so very much and it created the most wonderful lasting memories for our family!!! Thank you for all the noted details of style, appliances, and comfort! Thank you for everything!!!!

Exactly as Advertised - Modern, Serene Elegance

To celebrate our twenty-first anniversary, I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a week of simple elegance - a private, oceanside property with dependable amenities, considered decor, and an open space where we could truly enjoy each other’s company. I can not overstate how exceptional this property was for satisfying the above aims. If you open the door to this home for your stay in Shelter Cove, you’re immediately in the 99th percentile of ALL PROPERTIES in the surrounding area, no doubt. My current employer was once based out of the Merchandise Mart (Chicago, Illinois), and Denise’s home is in the very same league as any showroom within that space. This being said, the home is never clinical or fussy. The design choices serve to enhance the environment and ease you into a level of comfort that (in my opinion) surpasses the quality that any Hotel, Inn, or private residence could provide in this area or price range. Thank you, Denise. The balance you have attained (simple, serene elegance) with your home is quite special, especially considering the level of difficulty involved in transporting the raw materials to this area of the world. It was a genuine pleasure to be your guest for the week. Jamie and I would love to stay with you again! Also, thank you to Alessandra for your service throughout the entire rental process. We never wanted for anything, and your response times were a great comfort during our journey to Shelter Cove. Highest Regards, Zach

A few Days in Paradise

What a wonderful relaxing house! The view was incredible. The sounds of the ocean at night was so relaxing. The house was impeccable. Comfortable beds. Everything you needed while away from home. This place was amazing with outstanding views of the ocean and a short walk to Black Sands Beach where we saw whales, seals, and a beautiful sunset. The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I only wish they had properties at every destination we want to visit in the future - we would always choose their property!!

The property is a little hard to get to but is Totally worth the drive. One of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen with TOP of the line everything. Would love to stay here on a monthly basis if I only lived closer. Highly recommend!

Quiet retreat

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. I loved this home and my stay. Amazing views of the ocean and forested hills from the deck. You can hear the waves from the house, which is a great sound to wake up to in the morning. We saw deer on the property multiple times. I came to relax and this home was perfect for that.
