"The hostess was very easy to work with and the property was lovely. You can tell that they put a lot of work into remodeling it. It would be a great place to rent for a family or two that wants to enjoy the lake. There are three lovely bedrooms and then a bunk room for 4 kids or possibly more. Big island in the kitchen was awesome!"

"This property could use some TLC.One of the sinks in the master bath didn’t work. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work and there were several light bulbs out.The mattresses on the beds could stand to be replaced. Most of the doors were hard to open and close.As far as cleanliness, most of that was good but the floors left our feet almost black after walking around barefoot."

"Always love staying at Shepard’s Retreat. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen is stocked with the essentials. Beds are comfortable. Stewart is very responsive. Walmart and Publix are both close by (we had Walmart grocery delivery deliver to the house with no issues). I would highly recommend this location."
