"Love this place so friendly and welcoming"

"Well located if you need to be near the university, and a decent price for a location with parking and breakfast included."

"The room is well renovated and everything works, mainly the shower. The breakfast is excelent, but expensive. There are some work in progress on the square in front of the reception, with the street interrupted, so the taxis and ubers sometimes don’t come to the right place. But it is a good location anyway to walk to the nice city centre of the (former) “steel city”, already converted to pedestrian streets. "Check in and out was easy, the staff made us very welcome, we didn’t use parking or have breakfast so can’t comment."

"Beautiful hotel with long history located in the heart of the city. Very helpful staff. Very clean and environmentally friendly Breakfast was filling and delicious. Pizza was excellent too! Thanks to hotel staff Angus!"

"Hotel novo, limpo, ótimo café da manhã e atendimento da equipe. "

"The room was great. The restaurant and staff were wonderful."

The exit rules were unusual! You have a key code, exit via the fire escape and through a beer garden which as the pub doesn't...

"Tudo OK"

"Parked at the Novotel around the corner, yourparkingspace app was just under £12 for 24 hours. Body wash in the shower was empty, reception said they'd sort it. Minor niggle, but very nice well located hotel with very good spa facilities and friendly staff."

"NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed. The shower hose and drain need attention. The drain gets plugged immediately. The bed is the absolute WORST bed I have ever slept on. I bet the mattress is several decades old. You feel...
