Cosy Songwriters home near the heart of Sheffield

A warm welcome for guests in my peaceful Victorian home, located in the charming Walkley neighbourhood of Sheffield; just over a mile from the City Center, walking distance to Tramlines, Kelham Island & a short drive to the Peaks. Ideal creative retreat for writers/musicians/artists & great base to explore the City of Sheffield & the beautiful peak district.
Available for long & short stays, the house is set up well for work-from home, with super fast Broadband Wi-fi throughout.
The space
My home is a peaceful and charming three story Victorian end of terrace on a quiet (but steep!) street in a lovely quiet and safe neighbourhood just outside the City Centre with all you need within walking distance. Free on-street parking outside.

It's a comfortable, quirky space with super-fast broadband Wi-Fi internet throughout and equipped with modern conveniences such as washer dryer/microwave/dishwasher, Alexas, record player & Smart TV.
There's a well maintained upright piano & guitar available for respectful players.

You'll have the house to yourselves with its two main bedrooms - a spacious master bedroom with comfortable double bed, desk and closet, plus the additional small bedroom across the hallway which has a bunkbed for 2 further guests. The lounge also has the option of a high quality pull out sofa bed to provide a third sleeping area.
An additional attic room is now also available for longer term stays only upon request, but is otherwise closed off for personal storage.

During short stays, I'll be at the house next door and available and happy to help you with anything you need, be it local tips, directions or opinions on the weather! The space is most suited to 2-4 guests, though 5 can be managed at a squeeze The house is generally not suitable for small children, but will consider families for longer term stays, feel free to drop me a line to discuss your needs.

A basic breakfast of cereals, toast, fruit and juice/coffee/tea is available for short term stays on a help yourself basis.


*New* - From Nov 2023 The additional lovely attic room can be made available to guests on longer term stays only upon request. This is usually closed off for personal use (as my music room/ additional bedroom) Drop me a line for more details
Guest access
You'll have the whole house and garden to yourself, with the exception of the attic room which is closed off for my personal storage. (available occaisionally from Nov, see listing details )

Make use of all utilities such as the washer/dryer and 4K Smart TV
(Fire TV & Apple TV with Netflix, iTunes etc) Mi Casa es tu Casa!
There is a small back garden with patio area which guests are also welcome to make use of.
Other things to note
As with many of the houses of this era in the area, the stairs are quite steep and narrow!
