Winter Hideaway
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was very cozy with the fireplace and room heaters. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. We would highly recommend staying here.

Warm & Cozy!
We always love staying at Beth’s house. It’s so comfortable and the location is amazing. We appreciate that they always have plenty of firewood to keep us warm after long skiing days!

Cozy, peaceful cabin near the creek
Our family has stayed at this cabin several times in the past, but hadn't been there since 2016. Hadn't changed at all. Great time and great memories! Sad to see the devastation from the fire in the vacinity, but not at the cabin. Amazing job by fire crews to save the town!

Great Mountain Cabin

Amazing Old School Shaver Lake
This is a beautifully renovated/maintained original “Shaver Lake” cabin. Cozy getaway with amazing charm. We have rented/owned at Shaver/Huntington for 60 years and this cabin is how it’s supposed to be, loved it!

Fairytale cabin
This is the cutest cabin. It was so homey, quiet and peaceful. It's small, but the space is well used and feels comfortable inside and out. My family very much enjoyed our time here. I think the only downsides were the lack of a dishwasher and the bed on the bottom floor is squeaky.

Quick Vacation to Shaver Lake
I brought my two boys, ages 18 and 21, to Shaver Lake for a quick vacation. We loved the cabin, it was perfect for a family of 4. We ran into one issue at the cabin but the owner responded within minutes and solved our issue...great communication and Thanks!!! We will come again!

Weekend Spring Stay
The cabin was charming and rustic. Very clean and comfortable. The property featured two backyard patios, one next to the stream. Only challenge was I never received the link for the gate code, and cabin instructions. I had to call the owner for the code. It was a fun weekend! Thank you!

This was perhaps the cleanest VRBO property I have ever stayed in! Even the windows were bright and shiny! The cabin was exactly as described and we enjoyed our weekend.

We loved this beautiful and quaint cottage. The hosts were quick to respond to any messages or calls. It was a Cozi environment, with plenty for the kids to do! This is our second year in a row and we love it!

Winter Wonderland
We made the trip so the kids could see snow and they made their first snowman within an hour of arriving. We walked in to a cozy beautiful cabin and Christmas Music playing. Once the rain started we were all warm by the fire and playing board games (we brought with us) and enjoying hot cocoa. Ventured into the cute town for lunch one day and can’t say enough good things about our trip!

Nice Place
The place was as advertised. Rustic and rural. Internet / Wifi was good. The local small town is within about half a mile so it can be walked if due caution is exercised. The town has anything needed. The place was clean when we got there which matters to us a lot. Bathroom and kitchen articles were provided. Neighborhood is nice. Owner was helpful. We would stay again.

Beautiful Cozy Retreat
The cabin is well appointed and very clean. We were comfortable, and well taken care of during our stay. The area has not been affected by recent fires and is in a beautiful location. Thank you for making it available, we would love to return.

Hi Melissa, I wish you would have called. The bedding was in the ottomans on both chairs, just needed to lift up the top. Thanks for the 5 star rating.

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods
Beautifully done wood floors, comfy beds, love the huge boulders around the property. The courtyard in the back is cozy, you are mostly shielded from any neighbors view. The four of us had a really good stay, hiking, boating, fishing and horseback riding. The owners have the cabin set up so nice, they answered a call or text immediately when we didn't notice the wood plaque with the WiFi password. That is the only interaction with the owners we had, emails before hand was pleasant and quick. Highly recommend!

Hi Lisa, I’m sorry you felt the need to doc me a star because there wasn’t an ac. Our listing doesn’t state that there is an ac, which most homes in Shaver do not have one. Usually people open the windows and turn the fans on. It got down into the 50’s during the night while you were there. Next time I suggest reading the listing more thoroughly and finding a place that has an ac listed.

Like being in a Fairy Garden
What a great cottage this is! It was nice to have the renovations into the 21st century, but keep the historical value of the house as well. Quiet and comfortable. And how lucky to have been spared from the fire last year ... we couldn't believe how close it came. Thank you Fire Fighters!
